Zoey and her friends are out of PCA now and they are all moving to San Diego, California! They all go to the beach one day and meet Drake and Josh! So, I don't plan to post the entire novel here, as I do plan to get it traditionally published in the future. However, at the moment I've paused about 27,000 words in due to lack of motivation and feeling like my story is a bit boring. I've got the whole thing plotted and I know what I plan to do with it, I just need motivation to get there! So, I've decided to post the first chapter here and see if I get any feedback that may help me. I have edited it a bit, but I'm open to suggestions because I haven't done any hardcore editing yet."A magical world exists, created by mages, wizards, witches, and what have you, to seek refuge from the non-magical people who feared them and persecuted them for their abilities.
