Devil sat on my Chest

This is a poem I wrote as I currently deal with grief and loss. I put my cat down, and since she had been with me throughout my childhood, teenage years, and adulthood, the loss has been significant, and my cat will be dearly missed. This poem describes my pain and grief and what if feels like.I hope it will be of help to someone who is also grieving, and there will be someone who can relate. It did put me at ease, but the pain did not go away.Making myself aware of the pain though, has helped.
