Hi. My name is Victoria. All my life I've been trying to figure out what my purpose is. I've always felt alone and misunderstood, and home was toxic. I was in and out of the psych ward as a teen, deemed unsafe until I was court ordered to residental. Finally, two years later I got out, but home wasn't home anymore. It looked and felt like another living hell. Now at 27, you'd think I'd have my life together, but I don't. My dad died last year, and after being estranged almost all my life, that stung like nothing I've ever felt before. So for the past 9 years, I've been writing poems in my phone's notes app. Poetry has become the only way to escape at times. This is a collection of these poems, near and dear to my heart. I'm being super vulnerable and putting it all out there, because there's not enough awareness for what I went through. And I'm tired of being told to be quiet and just forget.So now that you know a bit about me, let's start this again. Hi, I'm Vikki. I have BPD.
