I undid the button clasp, I gasped when I saw the ring inside.It was beautiful it had a snakes head with two gleaming sapphires as the eyes and a decorative tail that came up in a perfect oval and rested at the side of the head.Of course being a girl I slipped the ring on my ring finger, but on my right hand instead of the left. I felt so cold that it was painful, when I tried to slip it off it wouldn't budge.That's when the searing hot pain came as if it was trying to meld to my finger. I grunted in alarm then my head snapped up as I suddenly saw white."
