First Love Farewells

My first poetry collection. These poems serve as a permanent elegy to the emotional volatility of first love. Some were written during the final 2 years of my first relationship, which began with a high school sweetheart but ended in a broken engagement and a broken heart. The rest were written during the aftermath of our breakup in the Spring of 2014.The heartbreak was worth it; I found an angel to get me through the darkest times, and we have been in love for well over a year now. I dedicate this collection to her, and I have appended the first poem I ever wrote to her, when we were still in the uncertain courtship of our relationship, and I was still submerged in the despair of heartbreak.
