The whistle rang around the court as my sweat rolled around my cheek. I looked around for the volleyball, my hair almost smashed against the net. This was the end game, the last round, one wrong move and it was over. I and the team had already won all the sets we were supposed to. There was just this one. Just this one left. My arms rang above my head, my hands clumsily touched the ball, but that force was enough to lift it high, so Ece could use her famous attack swing to win our last set. What she did. Her median body lifted her just as high as my ball, her arms faster. She suddenly was able to do a quick move as the ball fell fast towards the opponents area. I was able to look above the net to see a little girl in long, messy braids jump over her area to try and hit the ball, failing. The scoreboard began to squeak loud, repeating bit by bit. We won. We had won the last game. I suddenly turn my head to the crowd of screaming fans, for I was automatically searching for a certain blonde. But my wondering eyes didn't last, as a really tall, clumsy girl knocked me from my feet. Her lips congratulated me, but all I could look at was her honey brown messy hair. But suddenly, across the court, in between the door, four or six people walked in. Hayle realizes I am not hearing her, and she follows my eyes to the entrance and she says; "Oh look, they just got in time to see the end of the game". Her tone is sarcastic but her eyes are happy pills, her laugh cheerful. But suddenly I see it. Or better, Him. His slow, steady steps, his blond hair, his catchy frost gaze on me. There it was. Him.
