Grizzly: Book One in the Breakdown Universe

Major Colton Rosefield is a decorated officer in the United States Army's Special Forces. He has given his life to his country, even as that country struggles, squirms and slowly chokes itself to death from the fires of World War Three. Because the day everyone feared has come and gone. The People's Republic of China is in ruins, ravaged by civil war. Russia has restored itself, found fresh leadership, and is engaged with NATO over Europe, blistering the soil with artillery, air strikes, and the corpses of countless millions.

But this is nothing compared to "Isavaris," the titanic asteroid careening toward planet Earth.

Though smaller than the asteroid that brought ruin to the dinosaurs, Isavaris is still a titanic monster of rock, ice, and metal. It is coming for Earth, and the only way to stop it is by a global strike from every nuclear arsenal available. But such things are impossible, now. The United States and Russia are too immersed in their war to truly stand together, and nobody knows who's in control of the Chinese arsenal.

It is too late for Earth, too late for America, and if Colton Rosefield doesn't betray his country and forge an alliance with a mysterious billionaire, Jeremiah Morgan, then it will be too late for him or his family.
