It's about sergeant Jamison Clark and Private Zachary Brown, both into each other but neither of them know that they both secretly love each other, nor do they really want to start experimenting. The story is set in an unnamed regiment of the British Army during the Battle of Waterloo. The story is inspired by the TV Series "Sharpe" and a plethora of other books which I have read. I really wanted to write something that really does not fit well together, a LGBTQ romance set in the Napoleonic Era. Yep, kind of unthinkable, even today, but here I am XDPreface:This is the very first "book" I have ever written so I am pretty much experimenting around here. I want to make this a proper book but I am also actively looking for feedback. Only problem being that I am a closeted gay so my options are very limited in finding people to talk to about my writing aspirations. Please note! This is not a historical representation of the "Battle of Waterloo". This is all very fictional and I kind of made my own version of the Battle, I guess. If I ever re-write this book it will be a historically accurate rendition of the battle with this fictional story in it, but for my first ever book I wanted it to be fictional.
"You're kidding me, right?" My female acquaintance looks to me with her arms crossed and her eyebrow arched. Others around her stared me down with skepticism in their eyes. I felt small under their gazes, but I kept pushing my argument."I'm telling you, that weird virus going around in the town next door is no mistake." My voice was stern, but it started to become more of a plea for them to listen to me. I couldn't sit back and watch people die with the information I'd garnered. Then again, no one ever listened to what I had to say, but two of my friends. Ryan and Mitch were the only ones who believed in me. They were there with me after all. The students scoffed, murmured, and laughed at my antiques. My peers perceived me as a lunatic, it wasn't hard to pick up on."Cut the bullcrap. No one's going to believe your story." The girl rolled her eyes before turning on her heel and disappearing down the hall with her side chicks. Others began to thin out until I was the only one left standing alone in the middle of the hallway. Was she right? Will no one believe me?Will this world turn to hell on earth?(Art for the cover is not mine, all credit goes to the original creator.)

Even when everything goes wrong in life, they're always there for each other. This is their story. This is a fanfic, but is ultimately easy to read as not a fanfic.I promise after the first few chapters, the writing style gradually increases, I promise.
