Clio lives a simple life with her family, in there small town of a home.
And in every house lives the scared tales of Grim Rowell, the supposed monster of a human that lives in the old tower on the hill. Hardly anyone believes such tales anymore because they're just too gruesome to be real. But Clio's grandfather has reminded her of these stories almost all the time, scaring her out of her wits and making her want nothing to do with them.
But when Clio starts seeing strange and creepy things other people can't, things go absolutely wrong, making a crazy man want her dead, and making her neighbors think she's a witch, but that's not the worst part. The worst part is that those Grim Rowell stories turn out not to be stories at all, but are proven to be a reality, along with the unwanted attention from the iconic and brutal young man and his tower that said tales speak of.
