Ogień pożera wszystko. Świeżo wyprane dywany, nowe zasłony, ukochaną lalkę, obrazek dla Stasia...i nawet ich. Choć kłócili się niemal każdego dnia, kochała tą dwójkę całym serduszkiem. Z nikim nie czuła się tak bezpiecznie, jak z nimi...swoimi rodzicami.

Zofia nie mogąc poradzić sobie z bólem po stracie najbliższych zaczyna sprawiać problemy wychowawcze. Przechodzi z jednej rodziny do drugiej. I tak w kółko...aż niedługo przed osiemnastymi urodzinami trafia to rodziny Krzyżanowskich.
Co się zmieni od tego momentu? Niemalże wszystko.
