Bahkan ia menjadi tahanan rumah, hingga diasingkan ke luar negeri tanpa keluarga yang mendampinginya. Benar-benar sangat mengerikan. Pertemuannya dengan Bernard membuat Teddy mulai bisa mengendalikan dirinya dan bersemangat untuk menjadi manusia normal. Bernard adalah seorang dokter hewan yang sangat menyayangi semua jenis hewan. Cita-citanya adalah menjadi aktivis perlindungan hewan di dunia. Dengan langkahnya menjadi dokter hewan, dia berharap bisa mewujudkan cita-citanya tersebut. Namun, ditengah cita-cita Bernard ada hal yang ingin dia selamatkan. Tentu saja membantu Teddy untuk sembuh dari PSTD-nya. Darisitulah perasaan sayang tumbuh diantara keduanya. Teddy yang memang sudah lama tidak mendapat perhatian dari keluarganya, dan Bernard yang ingin membagikan dunianya dengan Teddy.
