Koshi knows that Tooru was frail and they were still children, they were only ten years old.. due to shock from seeing his father killed in front of him Koshi resented the demon race, Tooru being on the verge of death and Koshi having no where else to go he decides to run to the human realm and they hide there luckily their horns weren't developed nor was their tails or wings so they blended into the human realm quite comfortably, unfortunately Koshi passes out due to lack of food and blood, Tooru wakes up three days later and meets Duke Atlas and his three sons the dukes younger sons Atsumu and Osamu suggest that their father adopted the two young devil princes, Duke Atlas accepted and the emperor also accepted this request made by his most trusted friend. After ten years of being in the human realm Tooru blended in quite nicely and so did Koshi they were living better than in the demon realm, but unfortunately they had to go into hiding so the emperor asked if they would work for his sons and they accepted. Tooru and Koshi could die at any moment within the castle walls..
