Samurai Sentai Shinkenger
Around five hundred years ago, malevolent beings called the Gedoshu came from the "other side," and run rampage across the land of ancient Japan, during the Edo Period. However, the humanity have stand against them as the five samurai from five different clan united, and forming a team in order to beat the Gedoshu and banish them completely off the world. And after generations, it is time for the samurai in the modern era to dealt with the matter with the Gedoshu once and for all. It take place in the year of 2019, and the new team is the 19th Generation. (A/N: Super Sentai series is not belong to me. The franchise is belong to the Toei Company. Shinkenger along with Go-Onger are the first Super Sentai series I've watch, thus making these two series my favorite.)

Original Power Rangers Samurai Proposal
Power rangers samurai premiered on nickelodeon in 2011, and the reception was lukewarm for what was supposed to be the big relaunch of the franchise after saban re-acquired the rights from disney back in 2010. the main complaints of the series are the hokey acting and the lack of originality in the story (being a cut-copy-and paste of the sentai series it is based on, samurai sentai shinkenger). however, i created a shinkenger adaptation pitch back in 2010 when PR when everyone thought PR was on its deathbed and disney stopped caring. lets jsut say it was very different than what we got: the characters had different names, different personalities, different ethnicities (including an asian red ranger, such a big missed opporitunity there given the motif) aswell as a completely original storyline that went in a completely different direction than what we got. here's the pitch.
