Originally starting his career as a Pledis trainee, he tries multiple times to debut, from being considered part of Seventeen, to being a part of a rap duo at 13 years, to competiting in the famous Produce 101 to which he gains notoriety for his visuals and smooth vocals. Despite his best efforts, he failed to qualify and was forced to leave. Stuck on what to do next, he runs into JYP who cheered him up with some popsicle. Realizing the benefits be would have, he decides to audition to becomepart of JYP. Afterwards he meets several young boys around his age and together they are sent to participate to form Stray Kids: an emergetic group with filled with talented boys determined to chase their dreams.
