Shadows Blossom: The Prototype (Early WIP)

The biggest original project of mine, my first attempt at creating/growing and maintaining a Dark Fantasy themed universe. Set based/inspired by the Sengoku time period of Japan. The story unfolds within the concealed homeland of a mighty global empire, within the heart of the Hokkaido Region. An empire founded within a hotspot for supernatural events and creatures, surrounded by Colossal mountains the kingdom Is named "Tokomōi the cursed land of man-eating giants".This is basically a collection of connected short-stories set within a original Dark Fantasy universe, it is a proof of concept of sorts. A free to read online taster for my upcoming first proper book set in that said fictional universe, the prototype I intend to give people a good idea of what kind of world I am building. This prototype would help those who are on the fence about if they would be interested in potentially buying any of the mainline 7 books or not. It would also help me to become prepared to write the first book beforehand, with the given feedback readers had for the prototype given I am a novice author.(Reader warning as this fictional work will contain 18+ content, elements such as gore and sex will be present.) Can a Fae male have feelings for a plain human girl?Things don't go exactly to plan and she will need all the help she can get from Sam's friends and the new friends she makes along the way.

Dipeluknya ransel itu dengan erat, serta berbisik; "Hai teman, akhirnya kita sampai...".Tak lama kemudian Mella mulai disibukkan dengan perhatiannya disekeliling Cadas yang mulai tak bersahabat. Udara semakin kencang, dingin, kabut terlihat jelas sedang berteduh di Puncak Gunung Marapi.Mella memerhatikan kancing-kancing dan penutup ranselnya, mengeluarkan sebuah penutup kepala, lalu memakainya. Mengambil kain selempangdan mengelilingkannya pada leher, dan menutup ransel serta merapihkannya kembali.Lukisan awan yang bertaburan, sekelebat kabut itu agaknya tak mungkin sebentar menampilkan atraksinya diatas langit. Mella semakin sadar bahwa perjalanan yang dilakukannya kali ini bukan main-main. Karena sebelum berangkat ke Gunung Marapi, Mella sempat menulis pesan singkat dan diletakkan diatas meja belajarnya.Sebuah pesan yang mampu menyayat hati Ria, Ibu Mella. Setelah sibuk memerhatikan kabut yang menari-hari bersama awan diatas puncak Marapi, tiba-tiba sekujur tubuh Mella menggigil. Butiran keringat keluar dan membasahi baju yang dikenakannya.Napasnya terasa sesak dan berat. Dipeluknya erat ransel itu, semakin erat, semakin dalam. Awan dan kabut putih penuh aksi itu berubah menjadi hitam, angin semakin gila menampar-nampar pohon yang berdiri disebelahnya, suara daun dan ranting pohon semakin riuh, bergesekan, membentuk suara, nada, alunan musik alam yang sedang murka. Mella semakin bingung, gelap, dan akhirnya Ia tak sadarkan diri.
