A Schoolgirl's Manifesto
Hello dear reader,If you read my writing, you may be aware that I write fiction.However, this book (though I never intended to write it) is going to be quite different.As a brief backstory, my school has its own newspaper, for which I write articles on politics, satire and in-school issues. My latest article covered the issues of hierarchies in a school setting and satirically displayed communism as the solution to this. I was very careful to be respectful while writing, and even had it checked by my parents and the paper's editor (a fellow student), who all saw no issue, though the editor wasn't sure what the Senior Leadership Team (a group of teachers) would say to it.Unfortunately, her fears were founded: today, the paper was published, with my article omitted without my knowledge. I suspect that this may be down to the criticism of the school or because of the satirical use of communism. I find it rather disrespectful that I was not approached about this and this leads me to believe that this could be an act of censorship.Within this book, you will find the article in question (minus any personal details about myself or the school) and an in-depth collection of the arguments that exist alongside it.Even if those I wrote this for will never see this, I still believe that these words deserve to be heard.Welcome to A Schoolgirl's Manifesto.

But...How will Arjun handle when his justice is questioned by people when he takes a stand for a girl who he strongly believes is innocent but is tagged as a murderer by the whole world...What will he do when she herself is accepting the crime but refuses to state anything further ??How will he prove her innocence and save her from the punishment ??He fought with the whole world and also resists the high political pressure but his job became difficult when she is set for self-destruction...What's the actual reason behind Arjun's interest in this case ?? Is his motive only to serve justice or there is something else to it ?? Why did she shut herself from the whole world and also refuse to take a lawyer ?? What happened to her ?? Will she open up to Arjun ?? As the case proceeds, he develops a special bond with the accused, but Do they have a future ?? It's 1983. Decade of Decadence. The band Shield is poised on the edge of their big break. The words Climate Change have entered our vocabulary with hurricane force. It's difficult to pick up a newspaper, view the evening news, or read more than a few minutes on social networks, or the web without encountering these words. But what do they mean? Is climate really changing? How is it changing? Hasn't it always changed? Didn't we just recover from an ice age that ended only ten thousand years ago; and, didn't Europe just recover from a mini ice age that ended only a few centuries ago? So, what does climate change really mean? Does any one know? If these questions interest you, then please read on, as I try to shed some light on this complex, socio-political issue.

MINDSLIP
MINDSLIP is the catastrophe which hits the Earth at 8.15am GMT next Wednesday morning. It began six hundred and fifty years earlier when Betelgeuse fulfilled its long-held prophecy to turn supernova. The radiation, gamma rays and gravitational waves hit the Earth at the same time as a coronal mass ejection. The combined bombardment causes all creatures on the Earth to swap minds, leaving people in animals, animals in people, men in women and children in adults. The nightmare which follows becomes a social and economic catastrophe.Geoffrey Arnold becomes a key figure in the government catastrophe committee, formed to resolve the myriad issues raised by MINDSLIP. Power generation, the health service, farming, pay, pensions, education, the banking system and asset ownership spiral into chaos.In addition, Geoffrey must save his wife from an imminent premature death brought on by one of the MINDSLIP effects.MINDSLIP is a realistic, frightening and sometimes amusing work of imagination which explores how people and families react to the world being changed beyond recognition.
