Venomous Tongues
Venomous Tongues is a satirical poem about the corrupt nature of political office holders in Nigeria. It presents the Nigerian situation in a dining table setting in which the participants dig into the morsel (crude oil) without fear or favour to anyone. The political leaders are metaphorically describes as wolves & predators of each other. The poem is a free-verse, run-on-line poem with no spaces for pauses used to convey the serious nature of the theme.The themes of the poem are:Corruption, War, Political Instability among others

Fate of the Blessed
Cold, terrified and alone, Amara wakes up in a city she's never been to before. She has no recollection of how she got here. The city is desolate. No crowds, no commotion, not even a mouse stirs.
