I just write in a darker or more emotional tone when I feel like it. However, if you always like being the girl/boyfriend or the heartbroken lover (which I have nothing against), then this might not be the book for you. There are TONS of other, better one-shot books than mine, and I highly suggest you check them out as well!I find myself in the habit of rearranging the one-shots based off of the part (ex. part one, part two, etc.) so there might be a bit of confusion as to where my parts appear in the book.There are a few reader inserts, for example, there's a one-shot in here that inserts the reader into Matthias' video for Google IRL, but there's only a few of them like that, so it's there if you like that stuff, and there isn't too much of it for people who find it distasteful.Side note, I try to keep this as gender ambiguous as possible. Not all of them will be completely ungendered (if it isn't, it will most likely be female unless someone specifically requested a male reader), but I try to as much as possible. Hopefully, you can forgive me for that.And finally, no smut/lemons. I hope you understand, as I'm not quite comfortable writing that sort of thing. The closest that will get to will be some cuddling and light kissing.

V.I.P. Ghost-Busting
This idea came from Rick Riordan's book series The Trials of Apollo. I do not own any of these characters, they are either Rick's original characters or came from Greek/Roman mythology. In story, none of the events of TOA have occurred, but the Giant War has ended. SPOILER WARNING: Also, I've decided to have Octavian alive. Down in the Underworld, Hades wasn't judging souls fast enough and was being too negligent of his duties as Lord of the Dead. This resulted in way too many souls becoming stuck in the in between and roaming around Earth as ghosts. As punishment, Zeus decided to turn Hades and Persephone mortal, and they now have to capture some "VIP" ghosts that escaped the Underworld with the help of Nico di Angelo, and Reyna and Hylla Ramirez-Arellano in order to get back into Zeus's good graces.TRIGGER WARNING:I discuss topics of abuse and depression in this story. It isn't the main plot point, but these topics will be touched on. A Frightful Case of Quandary

Anne and Beanly are not prepared to find that their charges are immature troublemakers who commit multiple follies in their attempts to win the throne. It's all Anne and her friend can do to keep things under control... and of course, many high jinks ensue as everyone waits for the King to make his decision.
FIRST NIGHT IN DECEMBER.
" She came to me the first night after the homicide, and all I could do was wonder why she looked so much like me, but with a distinct personality, it was like looking at a mirror image of myself, but an angrier version. First thing she said to me was, ' It was a large Viking Seax knife, we should get one too.' I knew I shouldn't understand what she said but I did and I smiled. Even though she was still a stranger, she filled the vacuum in me with a motivated, strong sense of revenge, and I liked it. She told me her name- 'Lilith.' But one thing that's strange about her, I would say is that she only stays around for a bit, and suddenly, the entire night has passed and it's sunrise! She was almost like a bad dream, where I never slept. Eventually, Lilith stopped visiting but i could still heard her voice in my head, almost like she became a part of me. I almost concluded that I was insane, until i was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder. Nobody will tell me the truth, but the other person is Lilith, isn't she?" I concluded my narrative with the therapist. "According to your medical report, you're suffering from a bipolar disorder and a severe case of multiple identity disorder, where your alter seems to be showing psychopathic tendencies," She read from the grey file in her hands. At that, i burst into a wide smile. " Well, we make a great team, I must say. Forgive my sarcasm..." I replied. " With all that, tell me, what really runs through your mind?" My therapist looked into my eyes as she catechized me. Slowly, my grin melted into a grimace. " Dark things, I'll rather keep inside us..."

He also tries to get to know who his daughter was, so he invites Connor Dunfey to his house where they share good memories of Eliza before her death. These meetings bring the two closer as well. This is a story of healing and love and family. This story explains that it's okay not to be okay, and that no matter what, you are never alone even when the world seems like it's against you.
