The last and most important assumption is that none of the characters we know of were any more or less selfish, power-hungry, or selfless than the average person in Hyrule, and that they actually embody all three of these characteristics and more at different times in the events described in LoZ: OoTThis story is my attempt to write out the actual history of the events described in moral, legend-like terms from Ocarina of Time and how we came to know the Legend as it is today, rather than this recounting of the actual historical events and actions as they happened.
