What's even worse, Metallix has returned with Earth's unreliable human, Dr. Robotnik. Now Sonic and his friends have to team up with Dr. Eggman and his new daughter Sage and even form alliances with people from other dimensions in order to battle against these disastrous duo and any other enemy from other dimensions from capturing the seven Chaos Emeralds and pieces of the Master Emerald and save the entire Multiverse from disaster and destruction.
