Micheal, Vi and Pluto are normal average humans, with a normal average human dose of trauma, for one reason or another their friend group disbanded, all stringing from the mysterious Ebott Incident, that occurred only a few months after the reemergence of monsters. Something weird is going on in their world, skeletons of all sorts just coming and going, many surface dwellers blame it on the expanse of the underground, but skeptics believe this world has become over-run with travelers, from all sorts of alternate worlds. Through a series of hapless run-ins, Micheal ends up with four skeletal roommates with bad attitudes and maybe a bit more than the evil on the surface. Nightmare, Horror, Dust and Killer were looking for a home and who was Micheal to deny? He surely didn't want to be unkind. Vi was initially annoyed with the three they considered 'Care Bears' three skeletons that cared a bit too much for their mental health, later on meeting Error, someone they wanted to be better for, Vi might've fallen for the four's words, but they have a lot of hurt inside them, how could they ever be good enough for Dream, Blue, Ink, and Error? Vi would have to be patient with themselves for once. Pluto was unlucky. It was unlucky that he ran into Fell, it was unlucky that he got himself a job at Ebott cities psych ward, where he happened to meet quite the plethora of skeletons and more only kept on coming, gaining Fell as a roommate and Classic, Sci, and Outer as neighbors, Pluto felt maybe he could form attachments again. However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do?They defend it.* * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Stuck in a body that looked almost exactly like his own, but horrifyingly wasn't, Steve learns that he had a twin brother, he wasn't the only one the serum was used on, it was his fault the whole time that Bucky had fallen off of the train, but most importantly, Steve learned that he had been the one to create the Winter Soldier. Living a life incredibly similar to his first life in the US army, he wonders what would happen if he was just unable to go back to 2014 and the Avengers. Maybe, he could just stay where he was in the beginning, despite being on the opposite side of the war.(I'm in the process of getting a better cover.)

There's a line between dreams and reality. A very bold, defined line. But when you dream, you don't know you're dreaming until you wake up. Then there are the times when reality doesn't seem real enough. Like, getting into college or going to Disney world or better yet, standing in Paris, staring up at the Eiffel tower. Something in you knows it's real, but you can't help but think that it's all just a dream and you only have a limited amount of time to bask in it before you wake up. So maybe the line between dreams and reality isn't so bold. Maybe it's a thin line but it could never be entirely erased. Meeting him was a dream in its own. Every time I looked at him, I couldn't believe he was actually in front of me - smiling at me or laughing with me. It was a dream I didn't want to wake up from. I really hope I won't.

Sometimes a person just stumbles onto something that will dramatically change the way we all live. Through good luck or possibly misfortune, they do something that creates a chain reaction resulting in a whole new world or maybe destroying it. Aaron James was such a person. He had great ideals but the end result could NOT have been worse. Aaron was born in a time, before this present time, somewhere in THE PAST, when the World War went badly for the allies and we lost, when the calendar started not with JC, but from the Song dynasty, around one thousand years later. Aaron was born in the late 20's not 1920 AD but 920 AS (After Song). Aaron found a way to go back in time and he changed things, with the noblest of intentions. These changes made a huge difference, the calendar now started with the birth of JC (or pretty close) and the Allies won the Second World War. THE PRESENT time started out better and that is where we are NOW. The trouble is, sometime in our future, it all goes horribly wrong. Aaron is determined to right the wrongs of his past and tries again to fix things, this time THE FUTURE is a whole lot different. It has not happened yet, but it will happen.
