The Miracle pt one
There was once a miracle which happened on a cold winter night in New York City. A man named Jerry, a homeless eighteen year old laying out on a parkbench, trying to stay warm for the night. His needs were very limited. He had no one supporting him, no money, no income, no shelter, no friends and he had dropped out of school at age of sixteen. Despite the fact, Jerry was contented and grateful for the little that he had. The big problem: he had had no education. Which meant he didn't know what he was good at, nor what he wasn't good at. He didn't know much about what he wanted to do with his life.Jerry’s eyelids jolted open. He was awakened by the terrible screeching sound of a young lady’s screams. He woke up in fright to see an eerie looking man ripping into the lady’s newish looking, designer purse and shopping bags. The man was intimidating. He held a taser gun in a holster around his waist. The lady screamed for help . The man jerked out the taser gun. The gun came closer and closer to the lady’s pale skin. Inside of his own mind, Jerry was freaking out. Was the man going to tase the lady? Jerry couldnt just sit there and watch, he needed to do something. What was he to do? He had seen many fights in the city before, but he never had been involved with one, nor did he want to be involved with one. Jerry glanced over to the dirty, old telephone pole. He knew there was no way of contacting the police right there, at that moment. Jerry stood up very calmly, and the lady soon saw him, but the robber couldn’t see him. Jerry ran to the man and took him down to the ground. Now, the man had started to scream. “Get off me. Get off me!” he yelled.
