Doğal olarak da soylarında Slytherin binası çokça bulunan aileler erkek çocuklarını bir şekilde küçük cadının yanına yakıştırmaya çalışıyordu. Black ailesi de bunlardan biriydi. Büyük oğlu Sirius ile Alina yaşıtlardı. Üstelik Hufflepuff ailesi ile dostlardı. Küçükken çok iyi anlaşan bu ikili için ne yazık ki Hogwarts başladığında güneşli günler gözükmüyordu. Sirius ailesinin dediklerinin tam tersini yapıyordu. Alina da bunlardan biriydi. Ancak Sirius'un ailesi yüzünden hırs bürümüş gözünden kaçırdığı kocaman bir şey vardı. O da duyguları..❦
