Philippine Mythology
Philippine mythology is the body of myths, tales, and superstitions held by Filipinos, mostly originating from beliefs held during the pre-Hispanic era. Some of these beliefs stem from pre-Christian religion that was specially influenced by the Hinduism and were regarded by the Spanish as "myth" and "superstition" in an effort to de-legitimize precolonial faith by replacing those native beliefs with colonial Catholic Christian myths and superstitions. Today, some of these precolonial beliefs are still held by Filipinos, especially in the provinces.Filipino myth is incorporated from various sources, having similarities with Indonesian and Malay myths, as well as Christian traditions, such as the notion of Heaven (kaluwalhatian, kalangitan, kamurawayan), Hell (impiyerno, kasamaan), and the human soul (kaluluwa). Filipino mythology attempts to explain the nature of the world through the lives and actions of gods, goddesses, heroes, and mythological creatures. To maintain peace among Moon gods. Mayari was the Philippine Goddess of the Moon. She was known by Filipinos from around the provinces in Luzon and some places in Visayas and Mindanao (idk, I'm just making this up.) yet none gets to know her existence unless they went to the internet. Her avatar was someone so pure, yet someone so dark. A dream in the eyes of many, yet a nightmare in the eyes of a few.Khonshu seeks for Mayari's help, leading for their avatars to meet and work together as one. Though unlike the Egyptian God, Mayari wasn't always with her avatar. The fated souls started to meet, breaking one in order for another to fix and love it.(I don't own majority of the characters, it all belongs to Marvel except for the OC.
