Avoiding History
Dick Grayson was taken by the Court of Owls after his parents death. Bruce never forgets about the boy who disappeared though. Talon was created to be the Court's perfect weapons, and Dick Grayson was lost. Bruce finds Talon, but will have to teach him how to be a person. Joining a team of rebellious partners (sidekicks) also helps.

Dick still becomes Robin when he was ten, though he does not reveal his identity, nor has batman been able to figure it out due to dick's affiliation with the court, and the skills he has honed in order to be able to outsmart Bruce.
