They were brought to the nest of the Bewilderbeast and seeing that she wouldn't be going back to berk anytime soon, she nurtures Hiccup in the nest. But in a sudden and unexpected attack in the nest, she looses hiccup and he ends up alone in a forest with toothless. Now that its just the two of them, they both end up learning how to survive alone together in the wildness and living surrounded by dragons his whole life makes hiccup lose connection with the human world. But then their life takes a turn for the worse when they are captured by a man who calls himself a dragon master, forced to work for him, hiccup leads and attack on a village which leaves him grounded when toothless breaks his wings. He discovers so many thing about this village and its people which change his life forever for good or for worse.
