A newborn girl's parents were killed fighting the Black Blight to prevent it from getting to their home village or their newborn daughter. The mother, knowing that both she and her husband would die, sent her newborn daughter in a small boat down the stream to safety hopefully. The child cried as it was drifting down the stream until it reached a very large, almost ocean-like lake, where a cavern where an Elder Dragon Caedeus lived. Hearing the child's cries, he swam for a look and found the innocent child drifting in a boat along the water. The Caedeus had lost it's eldest child to Hunters and seeing the child, it decided to take the little one in and granted her the ability to become any monster she chooses, so she can better protect herself if she is unable to come to her aid.
