Hey guys, hope you all are doing good. I know it has been a while since I updated. Sorry about that. Health wise, I'm much better than before. College started today. So, I'm trying my best to fix everything in my schedule.

I hope you enjoy reading the chapter. I have few academic commitments and travel plans. So, I'll come up with new OS a little late. Till then we have entwined. Thank you for the love you give for my works. Grateful.

Chapter Eighteen

On seeing the alarm alert text, Ashwin checked the corridor footage in his mobile and found his friends on the doorstep. He realized his friends must have punched in wrong codes for the security lock to the apartment.

Ashwin changed the security codes for the apartment once Sivaangi came and forgot to mention it to his friends. Stretching his arms, he pushed himself off his chair and walked to the main door. With recent happenings, he really missed his friends and he was glad that they are back.

"Vaang-" Ashwin opened the door only to be greeted with a shove from his friends Rakshan and Pugazh who walked past him inside the apartment.

"Thangachii"

"Thangamm"

They both were calling out to Sivaangi in unison as they rushed inside.

Ashwin rolled his eyes at them and turned his attention to Sarath and Sanjay who moved forward to hug him. He hugged them back.

"Ongalukachum naan kannula paten eh" Ashwin said patting Sanjay's back while his other arm was around Sarath's shoulder.

"Athellam irukatum. Yenga engaloda anni ah kanom?" Sanjay asked enthusiastically as he looked around.

"Ama, avanga yenga da?" Sarath mirrored with same enthusiasm as he moved past Ashwin inside followed by Sanjay.

Ashwin rolled his eyes at his friends who were busy looking around. He closed the door and walked inside.

"Athu av-" Ashwin started but got cut in middle.

"Dei LIC building ey, enn thangachi yenga da?" Pugazh asked as both he and Rakshan walked towards their friends.

"Thangatha ula kanomey mapilai" Rakshan exclaimed.

"Unn thangatha locker kulaya vachu adaika mudiyum!" Ashwin rolled his eyes at them and pointed at the main door's direction, "Pakathu apartment la oru paithiyakaara gumbal iruku ongala mathiri, anga dhan iruka"

"Angaya?" All four asked in unison and was about to walk towards the main door but Ashwin blocked their way.

"Dei yenna mapila? Vali vidu" Pugazh said.

"Thangatha pathutu vandhrurom, machan"

"Avanga yepdi yenna nu therinchuka vendam ah"

"Nee um va, vandhu introduce panu"

Ashwin glared at his friends as he pursed his arms together.

"Ipo nee yethuku ipdi pose kuduthutu nikkura?" Pugazh asked as he walked front and tried to walk past Ashwin, "Naan poe papa va pathut-"

Before Pugazh could finish, Ashwin stopped him by wounding his arm around Pugazh's neck and pulled Pugazh closer to him.

"Yenga da ooda pakura" Ashwin pulled Pugazh closer than before as he stared at his friends in front of him, "Naan porathuku munna yenna solitu ponen, neenga yenna pani vachurundhinga!"

Ashwin beat Pugazh's head repeatedly.

"Aii mapila kottadha da! Valikuthu" Pugazh shrieked trying to escape from Ashwin's grip but failed.

"Dei marandhutan nu nenacha gaandu la dhan irukan pola da" Sanjay whispered to Rakshan.

"Athu, athu onum ila machan... Viraj ah naanga onu-" Sarath started with a sheepish smile but Pugazh cut him in middle.

"Dei mapila sola sola kekama indha part time paithiyakaran dhan da Viraj ta vai vittan" Pugazh surrendered as he made a dramatic expression, "Nee adika vendiyathu yenna ila, avana"

"Seirathayum senjutu vandhadhula irundhu yenna kanduka kuda ila. Onga yelarayum vachu seiren motha!"

Ashwin left Pugazh after twirling his head by holding his hair and then chased after his friends who started to run around the apartment.

"Mavane nillu. Yela prachanaikum nee dhan karanam" Ashwin threw a pen stand at Sanjay as he followed Sarath.

"Deii!! Apartment kadhava thorangada yarachummm" Pugazh yelled as he ducked the cushion pillow that came his way.

"Dei noodles mandaiya security code ah dhan mathitaney!!" Rakshan cried out as he jumped behind the couch.

"Aaahh" Sarath shrieked out as Ashwin took hold of him.

Ashwin's friends ran around the apartment trying to save themselves from Ashwin's punches. There, on the other hand, Sivaangi was having a great time with her other set of brothers in teasing Mano.

"Seri ney, naan poe avaru yenna panraru nu pathutu sapda poren" Sivaangi said standing up.

"Po, po. Unaku yenna, nee kuduthu vachava. Nalla samayal karana matirukapla"

"Neyyy, kannu vaikatha neyy!" Sivaangi giggled and waved at them.

Sivaangi walked out of the apartment and walked up to her door step. She punched in the security codes Ashwin told her and walked inside with a smile.

"Ashwineyy" Sivaangi said walking in but paused when she saw Ashwin standing few feet before her.

Puzzled, Sivaangi walked towards Ashwin, "Ashwineyy, yenna panr-"

Sivaangi paused as she saw the scene in front of her; a gasp left her lips. Pugazh, Rakshan, Sarath and Sanjay were kneeled down on the floor with their arms pursed together as they stared at the floor. Her eyes grew in surprise but the excitement of seeing her brothers after long time made her happy.

"Anneyy!! Thangamm!!" Sivaangi screamed in happiness making all five to turn towards her.

"Papa!" "Thangam" Pugazh and Rakshan said in unison while Sanjay and Sarath looked at Sivaangi with a wide smile.

Sivaangi was about to walk past Ashwin to go to her brothers but Ashwin held her hand stopping her.

"Neenga yenga da endhrikuringa? Mutti podunga" Ashwin said on seeing the boys trying to stand up.

"Ashwineyy! Avangala yen ipdi panringa? Anneyy endhringa neyy" Sivaangi said trying to free her hand from Ashwin's but he tightened his hold, "Vidu, Ashwineyy"

"Nee yenna un annanunga ku support ah? Suma iru, avanunga panathuku punishment kuduthruken" Ashwin said leaving Sivaangi's hand, "Suma irundhavana sorinju vitu raid prachana aaki, yethana thadava solrathu indha business la risk eduthu seiyura apo careful ah irukanum nu"

'Ithula vandhadhula irundhu ena kanduka kuda ila' Ashwin thought and sighed mentally.

"Avanga therinchu onum paniruka matanga, Ashwinn. Thappu nadakurathu sagajam dhana" Sivaangi said facing Ashwin. She took a step closer and said softly, "Athu matum ila, indha kolapam lam ila na, naan ipdi onga munadi onga wife ah ninnutu iruka maten. So, namma avanga ku thanks solanum. Mukiyama neenga ipdi oru alagana pondati kedachathuku thanks soli dhan aganum"

Ashwin hid his amused smile when Sivaangi playfully punched him with her eyes casted down and a smile on her lips. Taking his silence as a chance, she quickly rushed to her brothers.

"Pugazh anna, Thangam endhringa" Sivaangi said crouching in front of them and turned towards Sarath and Sanjay, "Anna, neengalum endhringa. Evlo neram mutti poduvinga, valika poguthu"

Sarath and Sanjay were touched by Sivaangi's care. But all four men looked at Ashwin who heaved a sigh and nodded his head at them. They all heaved a sigh and stood up immediately.

Just as Sivaangi stood up, she was engulfed in a hug by both Pugazh and Rakshan.

"Papa!" "Thangam!"

Sivaangi laughed as she patted both her brother's arm before parting from the hug.

"Elarum yepdi irukinga?" Sivaangi said and turned her attention to Sarath and Sanjay before looking at Rakshan and Pugazh, "Ena introduce pani vidunga"

"Papa, athu dhan Sarath aprm adhu Sanjay"

"Sarath anna, Sanjay anna, nala irukinga la, naan Sivaangi" Sivaangi beamed at them.

"Anni, na-" Sanjay started but Sivaangi cut him in middle.

"Anni ah? No, no, no, no. Anni lam vendam anna, Sivaangi kudpunga ila Sivu kupdunga ila yepdi naalum okay aana anni nu kuptu enaku vayasu akirathinga. I'm just 25" Sivaangi quickly added with a smile.

"Ama da, papa va poe anni nu solitu irukinga" Pugazh added.

"Seri apo naan Sivu nu kupduren, okay ah?" Sanjay asked forwarding his fist for a fist bump.

"Double okay neyy" Sivaangi fist bumped with Sanjay and looked at Sarath.

"Naan una papa ney kupduren da" Sarath said with a wide smile.

"Super neyy, super" Sivaangi side hugged Sarath and Sanjay before turning her attention on Rakshan, "Yenna Thangam ipdi thurumba elachutinga?"

Ashwin rolled his eyes at the brothers' sister reunion before scoffing,

'Evanachum ena kandukurana nu paru!'

That's how Ashwin had to spend his time with Sivaangi busy with her brothers and he being the silent spectator for the whole thing. To make it worse, for dinner, they all went to the opposite apartment tagging him along.

So, Ashwin spent the dinner watching everything with a bored face. The other person who gave him company in silence without involving in the fun banters was Sandy. Ashwin eyed at Sivaangi who were busy conversing with her set of brothers.

'Koncham achum kandukurala nu paru. Iru di, yepdiyum night enta dhana varuva. Apo unna vachukuren' Ashwin thought and sighed mentally.
