But she's moved past that and has decided to reach for a hero school despite not coming from a famous hero family and her only fame status being her third-year brother in UA who's a member of the top-ranking UA students and her family owning one of Japan's best know cafes for having heroes come and eat there. He worries about his loved ones during his adventures as he becomes Copier, the Copying Hero.
An Angel's Light
Once she starts her High School years Mia's parents leave the girl with all she needs to succeed before they move back home to the US. She lives on her own now, in her own apartment, and sometimes stays with one of her siblings. Her drive to become a hero comes from the death of her best friend after a hero failed to save her because they were focused on their popularity.Credit to @Juni_Penguin_ for the cover!

From Hawaii to Japan. Ailani Kumu, a sea-loving water-quirked gal with a passion to become a hero like her sisters. Her father takes some time to see his daughter but for the most part, is traveling the world for his job. As for her mom... her mom sadly passed when Ailani was 10. When she turned 14 she asked her father if she could move to Japan to attend one of the most famous hero academies, UA High School. Since Ailani had an aunt that lived in Japan and was a Pro-Hero her dad knew that his daughter would be safe while attending UA. She wants to become a hero not only because her sisters are the top heroes in Hawaii, Water Witch and Waver, but to also prove that her basic simple quirk can be used for more and put to great use. On her journey, she'll encounter many evils, new friends, and learnings on how to use her quirk. Nozomi Hitomi is a girl who almost died when her quirk manifested. Her quirk is called Hanahaki and is very similar to the fictional disease it was named after. The only difference is it has nothing to do with love. In fact, Nozomi has never felt love before and the only person who caredabout her went missing five years ago. She wants to become a hero for him.
