After Rory and Amy died, the Doctor fled to Victorian London where he met Clara and the demon snowmen of death. This story takes place between those two instances. The Doctor has found a new companion who surpassed the one-word challenge. The fifteen-year-old Winona Brown needs his help returning to her own time. But something is off. She's not surprised at how big the TARDIS is or that there are aliens out there like a normal teenager (or any human for that matter) would be. She knows more than she should for never having met the Doctor before. The Doctor doesn't know how she knows these things. And he really doesn't like not knowing. All rights go to Doctor Who and the BBC channel.
This short story was inspired by Regina Spektor's "Grand Hotel". It is a great song. Go listen to it. All rights to the song go to Regina Spektor.
(short story)Ever looked to the ceiling corner and saw something move? Or thought you saw shadows skitter across a wall? One child did. When Jimmy moved into his new home, he noticed all these things. And more. . . The stairs creak when nobody steps on them. The piano keys move although no one sits on the bench. Cabinets groan and dishes rattle. Soft whispers penetrate the darkness. Jimmy and his friends venture up to attic to explore. There they find one of the owners to the mysterious happenings inside the house. What do they do? They take it. The voices are angry that one of their own has been taken. So? They try to take revenge.
This is an essay on why our generation should endeavor to study the History of our world.
