Legend Of The Dark Star

Celdin is ruined...Damien, a seventeen year-old boy, wakes up hearing a cry for help made by a goddess, named Celia, who says that she is trapped in Celdin castle and that the land of Celdin is fading. Damien rises up, to start a long journey and become the hero. To do so, he must take on the Hero Trials and save Celdin from the unknown darkness that threatens to extinguish it.He will trudge through the freezing mountains, and across the hottest deserts in the land in attempt to save Celia. Celia is a girl who survived the invasion of the darkness, will aid Damien in achieving legendary power. One thing Damien has to encounter is the Legend Sword. A legendary blade that has the ancient power of the Dark Star within it. The sword is said to slowly suck the essence of one's life. Damien must acquire the blade, and use is to destroy the rising darkness. This is the Legend of the Dark Star.

The black dots increased as my breathing did. I'd done this too many times to know what was coming next. I hyperventilated until I passed out completely. ~After a traumatic event that led to her family's death, Iris moves with her Aunt to California to try and start over. Iris Morgan grew up a military brat. With her dad in the Marines, she grew accustomed to that lifestyle, until she was ripped from it. Now she has to be the new girl all over again. Only this time, she has to keep her PTSD in check as well as survive a high school full of teen celebrites, cute boys, and around the clock drama. All Iris has to do is survive two years until graduation, but what comes after graduation may prove to be more difficult than high school itself.
