In this alternate universe, Cleo, Rikki and Emma never became mermaids. Instead Lewis, Zane and Ash become mermen.
Life is full of events and opportunities drifting in and out. From ordering a pizza while sitting at home to becoming a writer, you can do anything. Absolutely anything. Life has so much to offer....but what does it have to offer to a 12-year-old boy who lives in a slum?Samarth is a poor boy who leads a simple life away from the qualms of the city. His family is poor and by that, I mean, in fact, very poor. Samarth's father and grandfather work on the farm while his mother sings in passenger trains for money. He has a younger brother too who met with an accident a few years back and suffered a great tragedy. The incident left a great hole in Samarth's life and heart, a hole no one except his now incapacitated brother could fill. Samarth felt as if he had been thrown into a black hole. As the heartbreaking event took place, everyone's hopeful eyes shifted to Samarth. It was both despairing as well as painful. The pressure was inexplicable. As the family now could only lean on him to get them out of poverty and get his brother treated, Samarth's shoulders drooped. Can a boy who doesn't do well in studies, is self-doubting and poverty-stricken really reach the sky, achieve his goals and get his family out of poverty as well as his brother treated? Could a mere spark ignite a whole new flame of purpose and belief in himself and be much more than the world perceived of people like him? This book is a symbol of hope for all the poor as well as the rich alike. The story is about showing courage in the face of adversities, fulfilling expectations, never giving up, having confidence in oneself, and being more than people thought... the world thought. The journey to success won't be easy. It is never easy but somehow you just have to believe in yourself, your goal and it will take you to the pinnacle of life.
When our dreams become paint, and paper is our canvas, we create the most beautiful paintings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Compilation of poems I've written. Please note I do not write poems professionally, and these are just for fun! Also, these poems are relatively new, so they have not been entirely revised/edited. Please enjoy!
Concept credits: @rubyshockeystickValentina and Riley are both in college but Val is a senior in college and Riley is a freshman in college.Valentina always liked Riley because of how much Riley admired Val and saw her as a sister, but since Riley scored 2 goals at skills camp, Riley became the "new val" and also made a new friend, Taylor. Val still got attention but not as much as Riley while at school. Val doesn't want to admit that she's jealous and might never will but she knows deep down that she is.

Hey, I am Rayna. My friends call me Ray though, and this is not because I am ray of their sunshine, but because I am the ray of fear in their otherwise reckless and risky millennial life.Yes, I am the non-poetic one who when asked to camp outside worries over getting bitten by mosquitoes instead of thinking of beauty of nature. Now imagine what happens when I get sucked in a time hole... just to make it clear, I do not die of a heart attack.Follow my journey back home from another millennium without google maps that too with infuriatingly gorgeous jerks.
