My limbs felt like lead, these wolves had been at me for hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf, unbeknown to them was that their efforts would forever be futile considering the fact my wolf wouldn't make an appearance for me even when I begged. I seriously doubted she would suddenly pop up as a result of their abusive tactics. Diagnosed with major depression and psychosis, most of the time I felt completely detached from my old self. Recently, reading over some of the things I wrote as a child, I felt again a flicker of the person I had been-a girl whose world was open to her eyes and heart, ready to be rediscovered. Revising the synopsis of this book now that it's been 10 years. This is a book of my poems I've written through the years, and will be added to should I continue to vent through poetry. Some of these I wrote at just age 13, I will not change them from their original publishing as of now to show myself and anyone else who cares, how much I have improved in language as well as structure and portrayal of the subjects I am expressing. Fair warning to start off, some of these (the earlier ones) I wrote using rough drafts of my attempted 💀💀 notes. Most of these are not happy poems. The words I write help me express and understand my emotions a little more than before, and come to terms with the life I've been given.Feelings of self un alive, discombobulated melancholy, apathy, self mutilation, rejection and inner hate are frequent themes in this poetry book.
