The Nevers

It is the year of 7015, 3000 years after the Great Freeze. Society managed to rebuild themselves into a future-looking, solution-seeking world called Forever. Forever is divided up into groups based on personality, which determines their future. Alice is one of those to take the test to decide. She finds herself not belonging to either one of the categories due to a terrible mistake so she is banished to the Outdoors, condemned to spend life with a group of people she never knew existed called the Nevers. At first, Alice doesn't fit in well with the Nevers, but eventually, she learns their tactics, ways, and becomes stronger while making friends on the way. For a while, she is actually quite content in the Outdoors. But it doesn't last for long. A threat grows as more parts of Forever are going through a brittle freeze. Everyone can't help but wonder: is the Freeze spreading? And their problems don't end there. When the all powerful Guide (government of Forever) decide to extinguish the people of the Outdoors, Alice must choose a side whether it be her family and the boy she'd loved for so long or her friends and what she believes in. Question is: Who will she chose?NOTE: This story is clean of sexual content (only kissing!), and fighting is included, but discreetly detailed (nothing too crazy), language- mild-hot (swearing & few obscenities, which are curse words), but it's PG-13 so yeah.

PKK is not a terrorist organization

Though the PKK is de facto included on EU terror lists, effectively at the behest of the Turkish government, no EU or international court has ever found that the PKK meets the definition of a terrorist organisation.A stable, democratic, and peaceful Middle East can only be achieved following massive political reform in Turkey. In turn, some of the only actors capable of challenging the autocratic status quo in Turkey are the Kurdish political movement and its leader Abdullah Öcalan, the long-incarcerated 'Mandela of the Middle East.' Their radical political programme of decentralisation, grassroots democracy, women-led governance, and protection of minorities is the antithesis of Turkish President Erdoğan's autocratic, top-down, chauvinist regime.As recently as 2015, the Turkish government and militant Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) were in productive, advanced peace talks and a state of ceasefire, mediated by Öcalan from his prison cell. But the Erdoğan government has since reopened hostilities with the PKK, resulting in the deaths of thousands of civilians, and moved to liquidate the legitimate political opposition in Turkey by arresting tens of thousands of politicians, activists, and journalists on trumped-up terror charges. It's time for other countries to follow the lead of the Belgian Supreme Court and delist the PKK as a terror organisation. This is the only route to dialogue, ceasefire and the reopening of the peace process in Turkey.

Elvis is one of the most famous men in the world, and pretty much everyone loves him for his fame. He has always said that he wouldn't let the fame get to his head. Well, it does, very much so. The love of his fans is like a drug to him. He wants to do whatever he can to make them happy. And the women... they love being involved with a very famous man. Even his girlfriend Priscilla is his fan, maybe his biggest fan.Something needs to be done about all of this. In 1965, Elvis sees a very interesting young woman wearing all black and has black hair and heavy makeup. The young woman, whose name is Ignis, claims to be an enchantress. She shakes her head at Elvis and tells him that the fame has gone to his head, and people only love him because he's famous. If he can find someone who will love and accept him for him and not his fame, other than his family and friends, his fame will not be taken away from him permanently. The spell is put on him, and he has the whole summer--June 21st to September 21st--to find someone who loves him for him, and they have to tell him so, too. And a twist made by Ignis: he has to love and accept this person for who they are as well.Sam's father is the main groundskeeper for Graceland, Elvis's house. She's less than thrilled when her father asks her to work there. Her previous job treated her horribly, and others in general pick on her because she doesn't have a lot of fashion sense, and she's not much to look at. People had even called her "beast" at times and "outcast." She hates the idea of being around the famous and beautiful Elvis Presley. Maybe she will just steer clear of him the whole time she's there.
