Humans cowered in their homes and hoarded food and water for survival. Close neighbors and friends became enemies and rivals. Fires from both the robots and global warming were ignored as many were executed by their captors. It took years of conquest and execution before 99.9% of the population was dead and all cities were captured. Governments and important people fled to underground bunkers. But the last survivors needed food and shelter. They went to an old seculded ghost town with only an old man telling a tale of a mountain hidden by fog and extreme storms and miles of desert. The Jade Mountain. He said it had hundreds of miles of deserted farmland, huge caves for shelter and magnificent waterfalls on all sides. It was almost impossible to climb with many unknown plants and herbs on wall plus very smooth and slippery sides. It took the hardened survivors 5 years to climb the mountain and build a magnificent city of stone. People heard of this place as hundreds and thousand rushed and moved in. The robots never knew of this place, as they savaged the lands for people to kill. 50 years it took for the people of the city to build an army and replenish their population, they had the smartest and strongest of all 4 corners of the land.
