Celestia and Luna's reign has finally come to an end, and Princess Twilight Sparkle has taken over as ruler of Equestria. Starlight Glimmer has completed her friendship lessons, and has become the new Princess of Friendship, and an alicorn. A few years have passed, and a small unicorn named Phoenix Flare is Starlight's new pupil, and is learning the Magic of Friendship with help from the rest of the Mane 6. Everything seemed to be wonderful, until the Kingdom of Thicket plans an attack on the ponies of Equestria. The Kingdom of Thicket is a kingdom of deer ruled by King Aspen, and his son Prince Bramble. Phoenix Flare and Bramble form an unlikely relationship to stop the war from happening.
