Abandoned Down (My Time At Sandrock Fanfic)

Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This was written for the orange belt for Write to Rank 2022. The prompt was to write a 750-800 word story where, "urban exploration is a hobby, but tonight something feels...wrong. What happens?" I also have to write in an active voice. Originally I was going to focus on the builder's hometown and the use of gliding to explore that urban area, but then I looked into what urban exploring is and realize that exploring abandoned buildings is what one does when one relic hunts counts. For those who don't know the fandom, the Corrupted Age is what led to the post-appocaluptic setting and from that there are a lot of abandoned buildings.

It explores a quest for God without religion. Written with bursts of stream-of-consciousness and first-person narrative, "Punk" is simultaneously an urban existential fiction and a mystery novel.
