This is an open letter to my ex.After I broke up with her I felt terrible. Not because I feared that I made a mistake but for breaking the heart of someone who held such an important part of my life for so long. She capitalised on this by sending me messages every single day of how horrible she felt and that she was going to kill herself if I ever let her go completely. She almost managed to drag me down with her!I managed to push her away and keep my distance, never returning her calls or messages.This is a poem about that time. I am not yet good enough at writing to completely capture my own peril.
