It's the story of Rosalia Scirè, the Majara (The witch) also known as "La Santuzza" (the Saint) due to her mysterious birth during the night of the day dedicated to the saint patron of Palermo and to an infamous "miracle". But it's also the story of the many diverse characters that surround her life. The story takes place in the picturesque, sunny and imaginary small sea town called Maresa during the 1920s and 1930s. We follow Rosalia during her childhood, when she looked like a small otherworldly pixie, forced to wear black clothes by the Three Woes ( the nickname used by Rosalia for her mother Annuccia, her grandmother Fina and her aunt Mimmarella) and living a lonely life, brightened only by her love for the sea. Secluded from childhood games and tormented by the "Masnada dei Monelli" (Rascal's Crew) led by the town's braggart, Vituzzo Pitrè and his friends Calogero Scimone and Nanni Balistreri. Rosalia's only shelter is the Casa Grande (the big house), her paternal grandmother's abode, where her aunt Melina lived with her cousin Nina, beautiful like a fairy but with a tragic destiny awaiting her. Her only friends were the plants in the terrace to which she gave a name, a small black cat that she saved from her mother's wrath and Titina Ingoglia, the only human being who didn't have any bias toward that strange girl. This is the story of a young woman forced to live a life that doesn't belong to her but that finds a way out toward her freedom, in the most unexpected way.

EL ROBOT NO NECESITA LOS MILENIOS. gritan y se olvidan de sentir el sueño como sueño. un niño a los pies del robot, camina, y camina. y escucha. "AYUDA" gritan. "SOBRAN PERO NO ALCANZAN LOS MÉDICOS AQUÍ ARRIBA" o "ANDÁ A LA FACU, GIL" no se que gritaron. a ver. voy a mirar bien. ápa. están llegando al sol pero están sufriendo como el fuego les quema la piel. algunos, hipnotizados viendo desde atrás de un vidrio templado, observan al gran amarillo, pero hipnotizados. esperando morir. y mi mamá está ahí.ESTOY SUBIENDO A UN CUERPO MECÁNICO Y PIRAMIDAL, QUE EN SU PUNTA TIENE LA LUZ. Noong 6th grade na kami lumipat sila ng tirahan sa Korea dahil hindi siya maaasikaso ng mga magulang niya dahil busy sila sa business nila. Noong nalamam kung aalis na siya iyak ako ng iyak. Pumunta ako sa tapat ng bahay nila na umiiyak hinihintay KO siyang lumabas. Nakita ko siya na lumabas.... nakita niya akong kaya lumapit siya sakin tapos sinabing "Huwag ka ng umiyak babalik din kami pagkaraan ng isang buwan". Pinunasan niya yung luha ko tapos hinatak niya ako papalapit sakanya at niyakap niya ako. Sabi ko sakanya na huwag siyang aalis. Tinatawag na siya ng mommy niya pero d parin sya bumibitaw sa yakap namin. Hinila siya ng mommy niya kaya naghiwalay kami sa yakap.Umandar na ang sasakyan nila kaya hinabol ko ito hanggang sa makalayo sila. Iyak ako ng iyak nanlalabo na ang paningin ko. Nakatulala lng ako dto sa kalsada, ng may kumalabit sakin natauhan ako. Si mommy pala, kita KO sa mga mata niya na nagaalala siya sakin. Simula nong umalis siya hindi na ako lumalabas ng bahay. Nagmumukmuk ako dto sa kuwarto ko. Isang buwan na ang lumipas pero hindi pa dn siya bumabalik. Namimiss KO na siya. Kamusta na kaya siya, baka nakahanap na siya ng ibang kaibigan don. Sana umuwi na siya, diko na matiis na wala siya dto.Naghintay ako ng naghintay pero wala namn. Umaasa lng ako sa wala. Ilang taon ang nakalipas High school na ako.
