My mom passed away last year in November suddenly and I just wanted to make a poem. It's not much but, even typing it out helped me let out some inner grief that I still carry from it. It'll be a very long process but that you for reading this. She wanted me to pursue my life into story and poetry making so here's something for you mom.

My Past is not Today| (Work in Progress)

Serafina is a child who is dead and is living in the afterlife in a place called Ani Creek where children go to experience a life of their own since they never had a chance to live and grow up in the big world. Every child have knowledge of how they died and what their purpose is when they reach the afterlife...every child except Serafina. She doesn't know how she died and doesn't know what her destiny is in the afterlife. She starts to think she wasn't meant to die yet and should be given a second chance of living in the big world. But what happens when she accidentally discovers something about her past that changes her mindset and brings new questions to keep in mind. * Was someone keeping her past life a secret? Will she ever know how she died? And the most important question of all, Will knowing her past life help her to uncover what her purpose is in Ani Creek?
