A Trip
This is a very short story about Hunter Martinez, an alpha teen who gets into some trouble. He responds with his emotions and accidentally sends himself on a trip...three states south. Far from home, away from his boyfriend and his family. He's suddenly under the care of this couple who just takes care of him until they have to send him on his way. Do you think he'll be okay? Will he get home safely? Are there some secrets that might've helped send him on that trip? ----This story was one of the ones I was just starting out with. I just recently finished editing it. A basic edit too. I didn't rewrite the story or add anything too much to it so it won't take too much of anyone's time. I just want to finally put something out there and finish it. I hope that if you take a chance to read it, you will enjoy it, even with all of its flaws.

A Light That Never Goes Out
Amy Rose Garcia, a 27-year office worker, turns to social media with the hope of finding the man of her dreams. It is partly due to the mounting pressure from her family that she should at least find a boyfriend who would be a suitable companion for her as she is living and working away from home. Her job is located in a notorious city which naturally causes her family's anxieties about safety issues. James Zadkiel Salcedo, a 36-year old CEO of a real estate company, comes across her photo in an online dating group. He instantly feels attracted to her. What started as casual online chatting develops into a serious relationship. The 9-year age gap between them doesn't seem to matter as they live a beautiful life of happiness and contentment. Their romance takes you to an adventure of a lifetime; from the breathtaking view and rich cultural heritage of key Asian countries to the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas, Nevada. Unfortunately, a tragic incident changes their life forever. But instead of wallowing in misery, Amy immerses herself online, searching for ways to make her life bearable. By doing so, she's able to cope and even offer help to other people facing difficulties, like family/relationship problems, the grief of losing a loved one and even work related stress; or by simply extending assistance to the underprivileged. As she traverses a purposeful life, she meets Brady Gibson, an American short film producer, who introduces her to the world of the unknown. From Mt. Banahaw, a local pilgrimage destination, to the sacred place of Mt. Kailash in Tibet, they try to discover the light behind the mystery of darkness enveloping these phenomenal mountains. Amy, with Brady's help, proves that life is indeed beautiful and mysterious. It's not really magic, although mystical, that makes some aspects of life inexplicable. Words fall short to describe it, but the heart is more than capable to make Amy see in darkness guided by the light that never goes out.

A New Power Up [Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir]There have been some struggles that Marinette's dealt with recently. Tikki's started having these abnormal sleeping habits and then even Chat Noir started acting weird- he was fighting akumatized villains on his own and leaving Ladybug with an akumatized butterfly to de-evilize- Yeah, I know it didn't make much sense to me either. There's no way Chat Noir could actually do that and do Lucky Charm, Miraculous- all that- there's just no way. There's not. It's another basic edit of mine. I first wrote this when I started writing chapter books. It's embarrassing but I managed to edit it some in the last couple of weeks and make it make sense...kinda sorta. The younger me was just so excited and wanted to write so badly...I did cut it down to five chapters because they were literally only a hundred-something words each part so hopefully, it won't take too much of your time if you do decide to press that 'Read' button. The Kwamis have a new power up and it's all great and awesome until the ones who get akumatized are the last ones you'd expect. Hey, everything's fixed in the end so that's great...it's a happy ending. Somehow. I don't even know how I finished this book without Ladybug.I do not own Miraculous: Tale of Ladybug and Chat Noir. All that ownership goes to Zagtoon, Jeremy Zag, etc. I only own extra characters and this story's plot.

Will Eli find at least one person she can trust after it all?It's short and has a cliffhanger...I'm not sure I'll do much more with this but I've rewritten it this year so I'm trying to give it a try so I hope you will too.
