In the Kingdom of Mistral...

It is early morning in Mistral. Ruby Rose is seen lying on the ground on the patio outside of the training room. She watches a group of four birds flying together, before one of them flies away from the group. As she watches it fly, Ruby sees Yang Xiao Long peek over her head.

Yang: "You're up early."

Ruby just smiles up at her older sister, as she spoke out to her.

Ruby: "Hey sis."

Yang: "Boop."

Yang lets her hair down and uses it to tickle her little sister's nose. Ruby giggles affectionately at her older sister's action. Ruby then sits up as Yang sits down next to her.

Ruby: "What are you doing up?"

Yang: "Can't fall back to sleep."

Ruby: "Ah, me neither."

Weiss: "Well, fortunately, coffee exists."

Weiss Schnee carries a tray with three cups of coffee and walks over to join her teammates. She lowers the tray down so Yang can grab a cup.

Ruby: "No, please!"

Weiss: "Don't worry, I put in blasphemous amounts of cream and sugar, just for you.

Weiss holds the cup out in front for Ruby.

Ruby: "Oh yeah! Nice Weiss strikes again!"

Suddenly, Weiss pulls the cup away just as Ruby was about to grab it.

Weiss: "I will pour this on you and it will burn."

She hands the cup to Ruby, who nervously giggles. Weiss sits down next her teammates and grabs her cup of coffee after placing the tray down next to her.

Yang: "Can't believe we're actually in Mistral."

Ruby: "That's what you can't believe?"

Yang: "Well, yeah! And all the other magic and stuff. But... Okay, you know what I mean!"

Weiss: "I honestly wasn't sure if I'd ever see you two again."

Yang: "Well, here's to defying expectations."

Yang and Weiss clink cups together, while Ruby gulps her cup down in one go, opening one eye to glance at the others' cups.

Ruby: "I just wish Blake could be here with us."

Yang than looked down sad, as she spoke out to Ruby.

"Yeah...would have been great."

Weiss and Ruby than looked and saw Yang feeling...down.

Ruby: "Yang...what's wrong?"

Weiss looked at her very worriedly. As she knows what is smoky Yang feel this way.

Yang: "It is just...it is just so unfair. Blake has to leave us, Sans has to seperate for our safety, everything here...a mess. My dad can't come with us. Mother is getting greeted by people who's from Salem, and all of us here...I don't know what else. It feels so...lonely with out Blake with us entirely. In fact...I have no idea what she should leave. It feels so awful without our entire team very apart."

Weiss than came to her side, as she spoke out to her with kind calmness.

Weiss: "You're right, Yang. I may not know loneliness like you are feeling right now. I have my own version. And, I'll bet Blake has her own version too."

Yang: "She doesn't have to be alone though. I was here for her. We all were! She chose to leave us."

Weiss: "Why do you think she did that?"

Yang: "Hm?"

Weiss: "The entire time Blake was at Beacon, she was afraid to open up to people. She tried to keep her past separated from us. She tried to protect us. Eventually, those walls she put up came down. And the moment they did, the one thing she was afraid of actually happened. The universe proved her right."

Yang: "No one blamed her for anything! If she had just talked to us, she would've known that! How could I be there for her if she doesn't let me? What if I needed her here for me?"

Yang buries her face in her hands and starts sobbing quietly. Weiss puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder. Ruby looked at her sister, as she to is saddened.

Weiss: "I know it's not easy. I wish she hadn't left too. The only thing we can do now is be there for her when she's ready. When she comes back."

Yang lowers her hands from her face, with some sort of doubt present of her very face.

Yang: "If she comes back."

Weiss: "She will. Yang... You, Ruby, and even Blake are more like family to me than my brother or even my own father. I would do anything for you three, and I'm willing to bet Blake feels the same way. So, when she's ready, I'll be there for her. And I know we're not as close, but... I'm here for you too."

Weiss smiles and Yang calms down. Ruby than looked and smiled at her sister, as they all share a group hug.

Back at the Mantle Kingdom...

Sans is now up at the front. He senses that some army of Grimm are coming at the city, fast. Thankfully, he used the Relic of Creation to make a shield. However...inside of the Relic...is a ancient entity. His name is Ambrosius.

He is created by the same person who has made Jinn. It was thanks to him...that he was able to make a shield around the city, which is thanks to Sans' powers, giving him what he needs to make it. So no blue prints anymore. This shield will hold them...but it won't hold forever.

As he looks at the horizon, he felt his hand interlock with someone else's hand. He looks and sees Amber. She is looking down, smiling at Sans for his bravery.

"Do not worry about this, Sans. We are all here to help you with this."

Sans looked and smiled genuinely. Than he looks at the horizon once more, as he spoke out to Amber, sternly.

"We need to act fast. The Grimm might come here at any point in time. So we need to prepare. Amber, get the people from within the armory to battle. And also, I sense that the one that has tried hunting my life is close. So let me take care of the girl by myself."

Amber nodded, and then turn to the base to prepare. Sans than looked to where Amber is heading to, before return looking back forward again. But as he look, he heard a voice call out.

"Are you sure you took the right course of action to use?"

Sans than turns and sees someone that he didn't expect.

Sans looks, but nodded his head.

"I do not think it is the right course of action there, Kyo. I 'KNOW' it is the right course of action to take. I know that this is not easy to deal with...but you know what...I do not care how to tough this very thing is. I am doing it for my friends...my family...for the sakes of those I claim as my loved ones. I failed one of my loved ones...I won't fail the others that still live. I will survive for them, and I will help them, no matter how much pain and how much I sweat I do for them all."

Kyo than smiled at him. It has reminded Kyo of someone he has not seen in a very long time.

"Heh...just like mother again. You are very brave and headstrong, never giving up on those that you care for. It is what I greatly admired throughout my entire life. My miter would be very porous if you for what you are doing, Sans. Be careful out there...and goodbye."

After saying that...he faded. Sans than turns back to the force field, and focuses on what might happen next.

Back in Menagerie...

It was not a great time for team BLIT and Sun. They had somehow got attack by a group of W.F that was hidden from sight. And now they are getting attack by the White Fang. One of the Tiger Faunuses tried to tackle Ilia, but she dodged, and began to shock him in a bad type of way, paralyzing him.

A beetle Faunus than tried to attack Trifa, but as many people should know now...Spiders eat insects, even beetles. So she webbed the beetle Faunus, and began sucking blood. She hasn't tasted blood in a very, very long time.

Blake than faced against another Faunus, which is a bear. But both Sun and herself knocked the best Faunus down.

Blake: "Thanks for the backup."

Sun: "Thanks for the invitation. You okay?"

Blake picks up Gambol Shroud and places it on her back.

Blake: "No. You heard Ilia, our family is in danger. Call the police and let's go!"

Sun: "Right!"

Trifa: "We're coming as well!"

Ilia: "I have to make sure that mom and dad are not hurt, or worse!"

The 4 exit the alleyway and begin running toward the Belladonna's home. They both take their Scrolls out to call their respective contacts. As a minute passed, Blake began to worry about her mother.

Blake: "Come on, mom, pick up!"

Back at the Belladonna's home, a scroll is seen vibrating on the table with Blake's portrait and the text "BLAKE CALLING" on the screen. Gunfire can be heard. Suddenly, the table is knocked to its side as Kali and a Menagerie Guard take cover.

Guard: "Get down!"

The guard gets up to fire back at two White Fang soldiers. He manages to shoot one of them down, but he gets shot down by the other. With the guard incapacitated, Kali takes his pistol and starts firing back.

Kali: "Get out of my house!! Ghira!!"

As she calls out to her husband, Kali is forced to take cover again from the gunfire. Meanwhile, Ghira and a couple of other Menagerie guards fend off some White Fang troops in the entry hall. One of them tries to kick Ghira, but he grabs his foot and slams him into the wall. Ghira dodges a sword slash from another White Fang trooper. A guard manages to knock out another trooper after a brief scuffle, and Ghira knocks out the troop that attacked him by punching him in the diaphragm and slamming his head into the ground.

Ghira: "Go find my wife!"

Another White Fang troop approaches Ghira with his fist drawn back, but Ghira grabs his wrist and knife hands him in the neck, and then tosses him aside. Another guard gets shot while protecting Ghira and goes limp. Ghira catches the guard's body and drops it to the ground, with Ghira wincing at his fallen comrade. He then growls as he turns his attention to the Albains, who have their weapons out.

Corsac: "I believe it's time our dear chieftain stepped down, brother."

Fennec: "Yes brother, I'm afraid I'm inclined to agree."

Ghira lets his claws out and rips his coat off. He bares his fangs and makes a feral growl at the two brothers, before letting out a mighty roar towards the 2 twin Faunuses. The battle for Menagerie is now just beginning to start.
