I've never been more warm in my life
                   Chapter 11

"It's just after that I could never talk to Chat Noir and it fucked me up!" By now I'm sobbing, and Adrien has the most confused look on his face like he just realized something. I can't handle his silence anymore so I do what I thought was best. 
I run.
I open the doors, people have their eyes set on me but I don't care. I hear Adrien yelling after me but I run. I run outside even though it's pouring rain. I don't think about anything but running. 

Thunder cracks in the distance, the sound drowns out my sobs. When I'm far enough I drop to my knees, the weight of my world once on my shoulders.
Being Ladybug gave me a lot of baggage.
"Marinette!" I hear Adrien yell but I ignore him until I can't. He picks me up and turns my whole body towards him. His hands on either side of my face. His eyes look into mine, then down to my lips.
I'm in the middle of the sidewalk, while rain pours down, and he kisses me.
It feels like lightning strikes right through my heart. I kiss back, my head feeling like a foggy august morning. His lips were the only thing on my mind, and they're the only thing I want to think of. The way they shape perfectly with mine, how soft they are. I've dreamt of this moment for years and it's so much more perfect than I ever thought it would be. 
My hands lay on his chest, his still on my face, our hair soaked already.
We pull apart gasping for air. No words were said, just staring into eachothers eyes.
"Marinette... Mari... Princess... M'lady…. Bugaboo..."
I stare in disbelief.
"It's me. I'm right here" 
Without even thinking I kiss him again. 
While the rain pours down on my dress, making me shiver from the coldness, but I've never been more warm in my life. 
He's all I need to be warm.
I found him.
