Third Person's POV

They trained everyday. Naruto improved everyday, his Fūinjutsu was done easily as expected from an Uzumaki. He learned a few Ninjutsu (Ninja Techniques), from E-rank to A-rank, with a few S-rank techniques. He learned a few A-rank Genjutsu (Illusionary Techniques) and it's not really his forte. His Taijutsu (Body Techniques) is improved, probably below Gai's level. His chakra control is okay so he knows a bit of Medical Ninjutsu. He also learned Shurikenjutsu, a few Kenjutsu (Sword Technique) and Kinjutsu (Forbidden Technique). Naruto is most likely an B-class or lower A-class ninja at a young age. Thanks to Kurama's help and his efforts.

~3 years later~

In his apartment, using his index and middle finger Naruto formed a cross with both hands
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique)" then an exact copy of Naruto appeared from smoke. The original sat cross-legged on the floor sticking out his right arm while the Shadow Clone took a calligraphy brush and a bottle of black ink, he sat beside the original and dipped the brush in the ink bottle and drew on the original's palm and started writing on his forearm.

"Are you sure this is gonna work?" Kurama asked as he observed what his host was doing from his cage
"I think so, I just wanna try and see if it works. If this is the correct formula then we can get you out of that suffocating cage" Naruto stated as his clone nodded in agreement. Kurama sighed, through the years together Kurama decided to give Naruto a nickname

"Look kit, you're gonna need the key for the seal which is with whoever right now. All you have to do is find where it is, mark your chakra there, you get the key then you can get me out of this cage"

"That works but we don't know who has it or where that person is, there's even the possibility that the person with the key is outside of the village, and I'm still a kid. So instead of waiting for the time I can go out I'd rather just experiment" Naruto explained and his clone nodded in agreement.

"How many formula's did you try?"

"Uh.. 27 I guess? This is already the 28th one" Naruto said remembering the past few days where he tried to free Kurama from the cage but the formula was always wrong. The clone finished his job, Naruto thanked him and dispelled his clone. He then meditated to go to his mindscape.

He opened his eyes to see Kurama on the other side of the huge gate. Now that he was 7 years old, the water only reached to his knees. He walked near the gate
"Okay Kurama! Let's see if this works!" Kurama's face showed a bit of hope at the same time the expectations that it won't work again. The water swirled under Naruto's feet like a tornado rising him to the paper with the character 'seal'. He tore the paper revealing the lock to the gate and went down to the flooded floor.

Naruto lifted his shirt revealing the Eight Trigrams Seal on his belly. He lifted his right arm and put chakra into each of his fingers with what his clone drew on his forearm appearing. 'Please work!' he thought. He put his chakra filled fingers on his seal and twisted it to the left. Nothing happened. 'It.. didn't work..' he thought as his expression saddened. Kurama's face did the same too.

Until a loud click was heard. Naruto and Kurama jerked their head to the gate's lock. It opened in a spiral form, with every click Naruto and Kurama's eyes widened. As it was finished the gate opened wide. Kurama stepped out of the gate and made eye contact with Naruto. Naruto smiled
"Alright!" Naruto cheered as he jumped around, Kurama stared at his host
"What did I tell ya? Experimenting was the best choice in the end! We don't need to look for the key anymore!" he exclaimed as he gave a wide grin

"I'm surprised that it actually worked.." Kurama said as he sweat dropped
"I'm even surprised myself" Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his head. Naruto and Kurama sensed a familiar chakra signature approaching Naruto's apartment,

"Oh, it's just him"

"Yeah" Naruto smiked recognizing the chakra signature
"Well, guess I gotta go!" Kurama nodded, then Naruto went out of his mindscape, stood up and stretched
"Well, now that that's done, I can take a good rest!"
"Oh, but I gotta remove this first" he said to himself as he noticed the markings his clone wrote on his forearm. He went to the bathroom and washed off the ink on his arm.

A knock was heard from the door, Naruto quickly wiped his arm dry and went to the door
"Yes?" he said as he opened the door to see the Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. Upon seeing the old man he smiled widely at him, Hiruzen is one of the few people who cared about Naruto.
"Hey Jiji!"
"Hello Naruto. Mind if I step in for a bit?"
"Sure!" Naruto gestured Hiruzen inside.

Hiruzen took a seat at Naruto's dining table while Naruto took the seat at the other side facing Hiruzen
"You should clean your house from time to time" Hiruzen stated as he looked at Naruto place, Naruto rubbed he back of his head as he sweat dropped
"Haha.. will do.."
"So what are you doing here Jiji?" he asked,

Hiruzen smiled making the blonde boy who was curious to what he is about to say
"How old are you now Naruto?" he asked
"7"
"I see.." he close his eyes for a moment and opened them again looking at Naruto's blue eyes
"It's about time for you to attend the Ninja Academy" this made Naruto widen his eyes, he stood up and placed both hands at the table's surface
"I can attend the academy?" he asked
"Yes. It's about time you learn about being a Shinobi" Naruto smiled from the news
"Thank you Jiji!"
"Don't mention it" Hiruzen stood up and walked to the front door
"Prepare yourself now, the entrance ceremony will be in two days" as he opened the door he stopped and turned back to look at Naruto
"Do your best in the academy" Naruto grinned
"Yeah! I'll do my best!" with that, Hiruzen left Naruto's apartment. Naruto couldn't contain his excitement anymore
"Yes! I'll be entering the academy, ya know!" he exclaimed as he fist bumped the air

"Tch. Why do you need to go to the academy? It's clear that you're stronger than the other brats" Naruto chuckled at Kurama's attitude
"Don't worry Kurama! I'll still train with you when I have free time, no need to be jealous" Naruto teased, a tick mark appeared on Kurama's head

"I'm not jealous you brat!" Naruto laughed at Kurama's reaction
"Anyways, with attending the academy I'll be able to improve more. And I can achieve my dream!"

"Your dream?"

"You already know Kurama. My dream is to help all Jinchūriki and to become Hokage!" Kurama scoffed

"Hokage? Why become a leader of people who hate you?"

"It's fine. I'll let them acknowledge me as time goes on!" Kurama folded his arms and placed his head on top of his arms preparing to sleep

"Hmph, I still don't see why attending the academy is necessary. Just take the Genin exams early and get out of there!"

"That won't do Kurama. I may be skilled but I still need to learn more about the history of Shinobi"

"Even after all that reading I made you do?" he said as he smirked, aside from just training Naruto's skills he insisted that he reads about the shinobi's history and read about different things about the world. Naruto wanting to finish the reading used his Shadow Clones for them to read and reread the books everyday just for the information to be stuck on his memory. Naruto crossed his arms and pouted
"As much as I find it boring I had no choice but to read" then he placed one arm on his hips
"And we never know, the Academy teachers might add information that aren't in any of the books"

"And if they don't?"

"Well damn" Naruto walked to a cabinet at the side, opened it then grabbed a scroll and the bottle of ink and the calligraphy brush and sat at the dining table.
"And also, I won't show my skills there"
Kurama furrowed his brows

"Why?"

"Because I don't want others to know that I've been training. I'll show them what I've got once I'm a Genin!" he opened the scroll that had nothing inside, dipped the brush to the ink bottle and started writing on the scroll.

"What are you doing?"

"Creating my own seals. They could be useful in battle" Kurama shrugged and went to sleep inside his host as Naruto continued to create new jutsu by writing down a plan and testing it with his Shadow Clones.

~2 days later~

Naruto woke up. He did his hygiene and wore an orange and blue jacket with a white collar, a white swirl with a tassel on the left side, with the Uzumaki crest at the back. He also wore orange pants with a shuriken holster on his right knee and blue shinobi sandals.

"Are you seriously wearing that?"

"Of course! It makes me stand out but orange is my favorite color, ya know!" Kurama face palmed

"Whatever.."

Naruto prepared his breakast and ate it. He gulped down a glass of milk and went out of his apartment. He then made his way to the Ninja Academy.

He arrived on time and all the new students lined up at the front of the academy with their parents at the back and the academy sensei's either on the stage, with Hiruzen at the center, or at the sidelines. Hiruzen noticed Naruto in the crowd and gave him a small smile while Naruto grinned in return. Hiruzen then started his speech.

As the entrance ceremony ended, all of the students went to their respective classrooms.

Naruto opened the door to his classroom to see his other classmates. He went inside and found a seat at the center. He sat down and looked at his classmates.

'Okay.. let's see who we got..' his eyes darted around the room, looking for academy students who caught his eye
'We have an Aburame..' he thought as he spotted a boy with sunglasses who put his hands in his pockets
'An Inuzuka..' he thought as he spotted a boy with a red fang mark on his cheeks with a white dog on top of his head
'A Nara..' he thought as he spotted a boy with a ponytail that looks like a pineapple and yawned lazily
'An Akimichi..' he thought as he spotted a chubby boy who was eating chips
'A Yamanaka..' he thought as he spotted a girl who was with the lazy boy and chubby boy
'A Hyūga..' he thought as he spotted a girl with pale lavender eyes
'And an Uchiha..' he thought as he saw a boy who was minding his own business,

Kurama in Naruto's mindscape was laughing his ass off.

"Who makes a duck's ass a haircut?" he asked as he continued to laugh. Naruto can't help but smile because he too found it funny that the Uchiha had a duck's ass as a haircut. A Chūnin teacher came inside the classroom, he had brown hair in a ponytail and a scar on his face that went across the bridge of his nose.

"Okay everyone, settle down!" he said as the other students went to their seats
"I'm Umino Iruka, and I'll be your teacher until you graduate" he introduced himself as he smiled. Then introductions went on, until it was his turn

"Next, you" Iruka said referring to Naruto, the students either looked at him in disgust or hatred, and some didn't even care. Naruto then stood up from his seat

"I'm Uzumaki Naruto. And.." the others continued to look at him, Naruto then gave his trademark grin and exclaimed
"And I'm gonna become Hokage, ya know!"

That's done! I honestly feel like starting from chapter 2, each chap is gonna have like at least 1 timeskip😂 but meh. See you next chapter!
