Percy looked at them, and they at her, in a very tense awkward silence.

"So how do you know Bruce?" Jason asked, being the first to break some ice.

"He's my uncle. Haven't seen him in a while, but he's still my uncle. What about you?" Percy asked him.

"He adopted me after he found me trying to steal his car tires," Jason said, with a smirk. Then he asked, "when did you last see him?"

"When I was six. My mom was still with Gabe," Percy said.

"What happened to him anyway?" Bruce chimed in, getting a raised eyebrow from Dick.

"Not sure. He just disappeared, just after the summer solstice, if I remember correctly," Percy said, looking at him with narrowed eyes. Not yet a glare.

Bruce didn't say anything in response.

"So why are you here then?" Damian asked.

Percy raised an eyebrow at him, "I live here now. The reason why is none of your business."

"Tch. It's not like we don't already know," Damian said.

"I know. Yet, you still felt the need to ask," Percy said.

"Tch," Damian said, but didn't comment.

"Don't be rude, Damian," Bruce said, staring straight at his youngest son.

"You know we know?" Dick asked.

"If I had someone moving into my house, with my family, I'd inform them too," Percy said, with a shrug.

Percy looked to the door, right as Alfred walked in. This didn't go unnoticed by anyone.

"Miss Percy, I forgot to ask, is there anything you can't or won't eat?" Alfred asked, pushing a tray of covered plates.

"I can't eat seafood, it makes me sick. Other than that, I'm free game. And I'll eat any blue food," Percy said.

"Good to know," Alfred said. He stopped the cart by Bruce and gave everyone a plate, which he took the lid off of as he walked back to the cart.

They seemed to have a pasta dish in front of them, it looked similar to her mom's backed ziti, just lacking the blue.

Once Alfred was gone, the six of them started eating.

Partway through the meal, Tim looked at Percy, "you knew he was coming."

"I heard him coming," Percy said with a shrug. She also sensed the air to tell where he was, but that's besides the point.

She ate a few bites of her meal, but after a few bites, she felt full, and somewhat sick.

"I'm done," she said, and pushed her plate away from her.

"You didn't eat a lot," Bruce said.

Percy sighed, "yeah. But I can't eat much at the moment. So..."

"Fine. But you better eat more tomorrow," Bruce said.

Percy laughed, "I'll eat what I can manage to eat, without making myself sick.   Now, enjoy your night. I'm going to bed."

Percy got up and quickly left the room.

"Good going, Bruce," Jason said, with a smirk.

"She ate like seven bites, that's not healthy," Bruce said.

"Unless her body's trying to adjust to that much food again," Dick said, "plus, she's grieving. How much did I eat the first few days here?"

"She doesn't seem to sleep well. Though, her family was just killed," Jason said, as he shrugged.

"Yeah. Give her time," Dick said, as he ate the last bite of his food.

"She's trained," Damian said.

"What do you mean?" Bruce asked, his eyes snapping to look at his youngest.

"She has some sort of training. With how she held herself, which was extremely cautious and annoyed, but the scars and callouses on her hands are a big giveaway, she knows how to use a blade of some sort," Damian said.

"And what's with the grey streak? It isn't hair dye," Jason said, looking at the door she walked out of.

"Damian, what do you think about her? Besides the fact that she's trained," Tim asked.

"I don't know. What do you think?" Damian asked.

"I think she needs time to adjust, and get used to Bruce being in her life again. It's clear that something happened when he left, and it doesn't seem good. Plus, who killed her family?" Tim asked.

"They wouldn't share it with me. But they emphasized this was normal for that part of town," Bruce said, clutching his silverware with white knuckles.

"So they're going to brush it off, as what, gang activity?" Jason asked.

"Seems so," Bruce said, glaring holes in the table.

"Think she knows something?" Dick asked.

"She found them, and she's lived there for years. However, she just returned after missing for eight months," Bruce said.

"How'd she get Alfred to call her Percy?" Tim asked.

"She tensed up when he called her Persephone, but other than that, you'd have to ask Alfred," Bruce said.

"She explained to me that no one who's called her by her full name had good intentions," Alfred said.

"What do you mean?" Jason asked.

"He means, that most who call me by my full name try to either kill me, or want me to do some dangerous task for them," Percy said, leaning against the wall, near the door.

No one said anything once that was said.

"Anyway, I came down her for a reason. Only to find my uncle and cousins talking about me behind my back. But that's not new. Anyway, do you have a pool?"

"Yes, I can take you there, Miss Percy," Alfred said.

"Thanks, Alfred," Percy said, with a rather bright smile on her face at the thought of swimming.

"Go get changed. I'll grab you a towel, and meet you by your room," Alfred said.

Percy dashed out of the room, and up to her room. She put on her blue, two piece, bathing suit, and put a blue tshirt over it, to hide her multitude of scars. Several of which looked as bad as they were.

Percy opened her door to wait for Alfred, and saw he was just about to knock.

"Ready, Miss Percy?" he asked.

"Yep. Let's go," Percy said, almost vibrating with excitement. Pools were relaxing, and centering for her. It allowed her to escape from the real world for a bit, like beaches.

"You like swimming, I see," Alfred said.

"It's soothing," Percy said.

"What else do you like?" Alfred asked.

"I like going to the beach. As well as sparing, do you guys have a gym here?" Percy asked.

"We do. I can show you tomorrow. I have a feeling you're going to be in the pool for a while, if your grin was anything to go by," Alfred said.

"Good intuition, Alfred," Percy said, with a small laugh.

"Thank you. Anyway, we are here, this is our pool. Have fun, Miss Percy," Alfred said, as he opened the sliding glass door. Outside was a large pool, that Percy beamed at.

"Thanks, Alfred," Percy said, as she set down the towel Alfred brought for her.

"I'd recommend taking off your shirt before jumping in, Miss Percy. The chlorine is not good for it," Alfred said, as he watched Percy slide her shoes off, but not the t-shirt she was wearing.

"I always swim with a T-shirt on, especially around new people," Percy said.

Alfred nodded, "alright. Have a good swim, Miss Percy." Then he left the room.

Percy climbed up the ladder of a diving board and jumped off it in a rather fancy style. She hit the water with barely a splash outside of the pool.

She swam back up to the surface, with a wide grin on her face. She turned around and saw Bruce and her cousins standing there with their jaws dropped.

"Hey," Percy said, smiling at them. She looked like she was wide awake now, and not dead on her feet.

"Percy, that was amazing," Bruce said.

"I was just diving. But are you guys going to come swim as well?" Percy asked, with a nod of her head.

"Sure. Let us go get changed real quick," Bruce said.

The five boys ran back inside, and less than five minutes later, they were all back, with towels from Alfred, and getting into the pool.

Percy had been swimming laps while she waited.

"You're pretty fast," Tim said.

Bruce and Percy laughed at that.

"She's always been a fast swimmer. She thrives in water," Bruce said.

"Are you guys going to jump in, or what?" Percy asked, as she swam over to the edge.

The kids all went for the diving board, while Bruce just got in on the steps.

Bruce watched as they dove into the water, and Percy just swam around under water.

"Where's Percy?" Dick asked,  looking around the pool.

"She's swimming around under water," Bruce said, pointing to the blob of black hair gliding through the water.

"Has she come back up yet?" Jason asked.

"Probably. But I've been focusing on you guys, and just checking on her. She seems to be fine on her own right now," Bruce said, with a fond smile.

"You don't trust us?" Jason asked, looking affronted.

"Please, you guys are more likely to drown one another, than she would," Bruce said, chuckling a little.

"Plus, splash wars," Damian said.

Percy's head popped up, "someone say splash war?" she asked.

Bruce groaned at the grins that brought out.

"Sounds fun," Jason said with a grin.

Percy jumped up and flipped, before ending up back in the water.

"And GO!" Damian said, throwing a bunch of water guns in the pool. He jumped back in, holding his own gun.

Percy grabbed one, and filled it up quickly. She moved out of the way, as she sensed several squirts of water heading towards her.

She turned and shot at the four boys, all were too focused on each other to notice she was heading towards them.

They all got hit in the face with water.

"You should have been out, we all shot water at you," Tim said.

"None of those hit her," Bruce said, playing referee.

"What!?" The four of them shouted.

"Yeah, none of those hit her, and now all of you are out," Bruce said, rather amused by the turn of events.

"Again?" Percy asked.

"Absolutely," Damian said.

"Hang on, we gotta see this," Dick said.

"See what?" Damian asked.

"She dodged four shots of water, with her back turned. We gotta see that," Jason said.

"Sounds fun," Percy said with a shrug. She turned around in the pool and waited.

She waited until she felt the water just about to hit her, then she ducked and weaved around the pool, not getting hit with water.

Once she felt no more water in their guns, she turned and shot her water gun at them, they moved, but not quick enough for her water to not hit them.

"She's good," Jason said.

"Thanks. It's not my first splash war. These were practically full out battles, at the summer camp I go to," Percy said.

"What else do you do at this camp?" Bruce asked.

"We have a rock climbing wall, we ride horses, swim at the beach, arts and crafts, it's a summer camp. We also have camp fires every night, where we roast marshmallows and sing songs. And every Friday there's a game of capture the flag, which is fun," Percy said.

"Why capture the flag?" Dick asked.

"It's a camp, why not? We divide the cabins into two teams, one of the cabins is in charge of the team, and they make a plan to beat the other team, it's all good fun," Percy said.

Their game was long forgotten, as they just asked questions about one another.

It was around 9:30pm when Alfred came in, "it's time for some of you to get ready for bed. You guys have school tomorrow."

"Right, Percy, where is your schooling at?" Bruce asked.

"I finished early. Have my diploma with me, if you need proof," Percy said.

"I believe you. But what do you plan to do?" Bruce asked.

"I need to do a few things for camp tomorrow, talk to a few families, as head of the camp. Then I will probably look for a job or something. Not sure yet," Percy said, closing off as she got out of the pool. Honestly, she didn't expect to live this long.

"Alright. Well, Damian and Tim have school tomorrow, so they need to go to bed. Dick and Jason live on their own, and they don't need to leave if they don't want to," Bruce said, as he got out of the pool, and grabbing a towel for him, then holding two towels out for Damian and Tim.

Said two boys got out of the pool, and grabbed the towels.

"Nice to meet you, Percy," Tim said, as he went back inside.

"Same," Percy said, just before he got to the door.

Damian just looked at her, "Tch." Then followed suit, and went inside.

Percy smirked, he kind of reminded her of Nico. Just less social skills than her cousin; which says something.

"I have work tomorrow, so I'm going to head out too. Nice meeting you, Percy," Dick said, then left as well.

Percy returned to the pool, and started swimming laps, gliding through the water, ignoring the eyes on her as she moved.
