Chapter 4: Strange and stranger

Arisa:

After running for a while we were nearing the school and I could easily tell that everyone was tired so I had us stop to rest. "You have got slow down." Xale said trying to catch his breath.
"Xale don't whine so much, just because girls are more athletic than boys." I told him.
Nali stepped into the conversation, "She's right on the part where girls are more athletic than boys."
Niastu doesn't seem nervous and answered confidently "Well I mean girls are..."
Xale cut him off and asked Abrin to see what he thinks and he just shrugs his shoulder and says "I'm not apart of this. You're on your own."
I got up and everyone else did to and away we ran towards the school. As we got even closer to the school I felt like something wasn't right, I should keep this feeling to myself. I don't need the others to be stressed out right now.

Nail:

Growing up Arisa and I were extremely close to each other, we were practically sisters. So I can tell if somethings off "Hey Arisa?" I asked.
She has a slow reaction and it took her a good number of seconds to answer "Yes, Nali?"
I asked her "What's on your mind?"
She seemed hesitant to answer and finally said "Nothing, don't worry about it."
She had a fake on her face the smile used to comfort people with lies. We continued to the school, we were nearly there when I started receiving a weird feeling, something wasn't right. Could this be what was nothing Arisa? "Hey, Arisa?"
She already knew what I was going to say and replied "I feel it too, but we still need to keep going."
I nodded and not long after did we arrive to the front of the old school.

Niastu:

As we arrived to the gate of the school we all noticed one thing. "Where are all the cars?" Abrin said.
He literally took the words right out of all our mouths. I looked around the parking lot and not a single car was in sight, "Let's just go inside, I'm sure there's someone inside." I suggested.
We walked along the sidewalk, there was no noise except for our footstephitting the ground in unison, the wind could be heard brushing against the leaves of the trees and bushes. It almost seems as though mother nature was trying to talk to us. We got to the steps that lead to the main building "I suggested this, so who's going to open it?" I said.
Abrin and Xale stepped back, Nali and Arisa stepped up "Youbboys are such wimps." Nail said.
As the two of them got closer to the door we were right behind them.

Arisa:

What good are boys? Worthless. I reached for the door handle and tried to open the door but it was locked. I turned around and look at Niastu and said "Now what? Oh, great Niastu?" I said.
Niastu with his hand scratching the back of his head said "You see the funny thing is, I don't know."
"Let's try the doors to the other buildings." Nali suggested.
Before I could tell Nali what a great idea that was we heard the noise of something creaking. I looked around and didn't see anything, Xale said to me "Arisa look behind you."
I turn around to see the door slowly opening, the same door that was just locked when I tried to open it earlier. "Should we go in?" Nali asked.
I nodded, and started walking inside with everyone following me. When we got inside into the common area the door behind us just slammed shut, Abrin went over to the door to try and push it up "It won't budge." He said.
"Well looks like we're stuck in here, but hey it could be worse." I told everybody.
Out of no where some music began to play "You better watch out, you better not pout..."
The song continued, "Really? Christmas music late in spring?" Abrin said.

Abrin:

Truth be told I love Christmas songs but I couldn't let the others know test or I'd be a huge loser. "Let's go find out where the music is being played from. Arisa suggested.
"Well we don't really have many other options so let's go." Xale said.
"Wait, let's split into groups to cover more ground. Xale and Arisa you guys go towards the gym and Niastu, Nali and I will go look around the classrooms." I said.
And our group broke up and we went our different paths. Niastu was lagging behind but quickly caught up to me and asked "Why'd you split us up like that?"
Nali quickly ran up next to me and got into the conversation and said "Yeah, why did you go and split us up like that!" I cracked a smile and told them "Let's just say, it's an experiment."
