Chapter 2: Cooperating Prisoner

"Ah you're finally awake." Rang a voice in Ahsoka's ears. "Who are you?" She asked slowly, opening her eyes. Finally opening her eyes she could see infront of her stood a humanoid male; his species of origin, concealed by a helmet shaped like a human skull with blue lenses in its eye sockets, 'no doubt sensors' she thought to herself.

"You miss, you are my prisoner." Came a modulated voice. She tried to move only to realize she was restrained by a force containment field. "How did you even get me?" She demanded. "Well there are consequences to sneaking onto people's ships." He replied. "Seems fair enough." She said sarcastically. "You know as a jedi i would expect a stronger moral compass." He said pacing around the room, hands clasped behind his back. "I am no jedi." She replied bitterly.

"You are a force user no less." The stranger pointed out. "What i was doesn't concern you." She spat out. "Oh no it does. That concerns my job." He said. "You are a bounty hunter." She pointed out. "Yes and coincidentally you walked right aboard my ship." He said, chuckling to himself. "What do you find funny?" She demanded. "My fortune." He replied, collecting himself again.

"Now. Let's not veer off topic here." He said, he then paused and looked at her. "What are you staring at!" She yelled. "You know, although i am to receive a handsome reward for bringing you in, i require your assistance." He continued. "What kind of trick is this?" She asked. "Of the non existent one. As i said you can help me and in return are free to go. After compromising the delivery that is." He offered.

"What kind of problem?" She asked further. "A personal problem. And it does require force expertise." He answered. "Wouldn't your client get pissed and the whole sabotaging the deliver-" she began saying but was cut off. "Delivery time is plenty. Since i am expected to bring you in with yellow eyes. To answer your first question however, he is a dangerous, powerful yet patient man. He can wait but doesn't give second chances. This job is a private one." He finished.

"Yellow eyes?!" She yelled. "Oh yeah. Yellow eyes." He answered coldly. "Dooku!" She spat. "Your client is Count Dooku." She spat. "Who else would want a dark jedi?" She said but more so to herself. "I can neither deny nor confirm this but i care not from where the money flows." He replied, the modulator hiding his true emotions. "Listen sweetheart." He started. "I am not your sweetheart!" She yelled. "Whoevers you may be, i am giving you an offer to earn your freedom. Are you onboard or not? This is the last time i am extending this offer to you." He said in a more authoritative tone.

"Fine." She said. "How can i trust you to go free of these?" He asked. "I swear not to betray your trust. There you have my oath." She said. "Good enough." He said moving to the control panel and shutting the force field off. "There." He said removing his helmet; revealing under it a teenage man with long blonde hair.

"After you." He said pointing to door. His tone a bit more welcoming. Ahsoka just walked forward quietly, not uttering a single word, feeling a pistol pointed at her through the force but no danger from it. After walking through several doorways they reached walked outside of a ship, she looked back to see a VCX-100 class light freighter.

Walking a bit further away from the ship she could see a cliff face and a little girl sitting on it staring at a waterfall. "Revan." The boy called out. The girl turned her head around to look at him as well as a stranger next to him. "Is this the help you were talking of. A bounty?" She questioned. "When life gives you something you make the most of it." He replied quietly holstering his pistol.

"I am guessing i should open up. My name is Ahsoka Tano." Ahsoka said. "I that case my name is Revan Trail." Revan said blankly. "Well i guess i will leave you two to sort it out. But i will be watching." he said, making it clear to ahsoka that she will be watched and targeted.

"So uh, Revan what kind of problem am i needed for here?" Ahsoka said breaking the silence. "A so called 'Force vision' if what i red was true." The young girl said. "A force vision? How do you know that is your dream is a force vision?" The Older girl questioned. "Well it matched the analysis i red. Constantly reapearing, very vivid and detailed, and it also felt the same pain as i had in the vision." Revan answered. 'Well things just got more complicated.' Ahsoka thought to her self.

"Listen Rev-" Ahsoka tried to say before being cut off. "Just how much more complicated?" Revan asked. "What?" Ahsoka questioned back. "You said or more accurateley thought that things just got more complicated." Revan answered.

"Well i wasn't sure yet of how force sensitive you were so, i tried this to test your potential out." Said the Togruta. "Tried what?" Revan asked. "The whole thinking thing." Ahsoka told the younger girl. "Although young and untrained your ability to see into my mind, shows untold potential burried within you." Ahsoka stated.

"Really!?" Revan jumped exitedly. "Yes." Ahsoka said. "But it requires training one which the Jedi order won't offer." Ahsoka continued further. "What a bummer." Revan stated. "Let us not change subject; as for your vision, i must be sure so i will have to observe a release of force energy when it occurs to you." Ahsoka finished. "Sooo until night time, there isn't anything you can really do?" Revan asked curiosly. "Yes." Was the simple and given answer. "So see you later." Revan said before getting up and leaving.

Ahsoka watched her ascend the ramp of the ship heading inside; she also noticed the older boy jump down from the deck of the ship, rifle in hand. "What a way to build trust." She said sarcastically, getting fron the cliff's edge. "Saftey measures." He stated blankly.

"What did you achieve so far?" He questioned. "I cannot confirm what she has is a force vision until it accurs to her." She answered. "But she has a strong connection to the force." Ahsoka added. "What do you mean?" He asked. "She could be in theory a jedi bu-" she tried answering but was cut off. "No thanks." He replied.

"I don't think you understand. I said in theory but the Jedi order won't allow it seeing as she is quite old for an initiate. But she must be trained else a violent outburst of emotions could garner the unwanted attention from let's just say, not so nice individuals." She told him. "Like my client?" He asked. "Exactly." She replied. Watching as his expression grew dim. Turning away he said. "You are free to explore the area but D-5cn will accompany you." He said walking into the ship.

By the time night had come by, Revan was anxious to sleep. "What if it happens again?" She asked, concern lacing her voice. "We need for it to happen to confirm what it is." Sigil said taking her to their temporarily shared quarters where Ahsoka was waiting on the floor in a meditative state.
"So how do we go about this?" Sigil asked. "Well first she has to sleep. Then if said dream happens if it occurs with a violent release of force energy then it indicates a force vision." Ahsoka explained. Sigil just nodded in understanding.

It took some convincing but Revan finally agreed to sleep and dosed off quickly. Ahsoka and Sigil stood by her side for hours until she started moving around. "It's happening." Sigil commented. Ahsoka ignored him and focused in on Revan's mind.

' "You don't know the extent of the dark side's power, young one. Bow before me and pledge yourself to my teachings else your dear brother, dies" the voice said before uttering another breath. "Don't liste...eh" Sigil tried to say before being lifted into the air; gasping for air as if choking. Desperately he tried to signal me to run with whatever he could; waving his head, signaling with his eyes or pointing away with his feet. Only for everything to be engulfed in a brilliant light.'

"No!" Rang a scream across the ship but now it was more destructive. Untethered objects flew across the room barely missing Ahsoka and Sigil. Revan's eyes shot open and in an instant she stood up in fear. Sigil went over and comforted her, gently stroking her face. All the fear and sobbing put Revan back to sleep as evident by her lack of motion so Sigil slowly set her back and gestured for Ahsoka to follow him outside as well.

Once outside the room, he asked "Was it a force vision?". "I am afraid so." She said. Sighing "I guess my time is due shortly." He said with a sour expression. "I wouldn't be so sure." She said. "Explain." He said curiously. "Although what she had was a force vision, they don't always come true and can be inaccurate. But trying to act upon them could make them manifest." She explained.

"So i just have to pretend like nothing happened?" He asked. "Potentially." She said. "Thank you for your help. I will be keeping my end of the bargain so you are free to stay on the ship for 60 rotations before delivery." He said. "Suit yourself he said before walking off. "Wait!" She called out. "What?" He asked. "What about training in the force?" She asked. "That is a topic for later. Seeing how tired we are." He pointed out before walking off.
