We layed their body to body as the sun shined through the glass window. I could hear his heart beating, it was like music to my ears. He ran his fingers through my hair as i traced small circles on his stomach.

Being in his arms felt so safe and I could stay here forever.

Flashbacks from yesterday ran through my mind, the way he touched me, how his lips connected to every part of my body.

"You know for the first time yesterday I was actually scared"

I could hear his voice echoe through his body as he spoke. I lifted my head up connecting my eyes with his.

"Why?" I questioned because grayson doesn't fear anything. But himself.

"When I asked you to help me with this, at first I just wanted to play with you, to see what you were made of, but you shocked the shit out of me when you agreeded, and then when we drove out here you didn't question me not once, you trusted me, and it wasn't fun and games anymore, I knew you were behind me 100%, and yesterday I didn't have a plan, I let my anger get the best of me and at the time i didnt care if anyone got hurt but when you stepped up to him I felt my stomach drop to the floor in fear, the thought of losing you scared the shit out of me, and I realized I do fear something"

His eyes never left mine as he fingers rubbed softly against my cheek.

"And what is that?"

"I fear you, and everything about you" he says so softly as he brought his lips to mine.

I rolled over feeling an empty bed. I didn't even realize I fell asleep and slept all day. I got up throwing on graysons big T-shirt and i walked out looking for him.

He was standing by the pool in his suit talking on the phone. I could tell he was frustrated because he kept running his fingers through his hair as he paced back and forth.

I walked over leaning against the door way as i watched him closely. He was so beautiful and dark and it drove me crazy.

He ended the call and I could hear him cuss under his breath. He made his way to me and I just stood there looking at him confused.

"I have to go, I'll be back in a couple of hours" he says walking past me but I gripped his arm pulling him back. His Hazel eye met mine and his face softened.

"Where are you going" i asked softly trying not to provoke him.

He looks down shaking his head as he pulled out of my grip.

"There's something I need to do and I think it's to soon for you to help, I'm sorry but your not going, your mine now and I'm gonna protect you at all cost" he reaches his arm around my waist bringing me into him as he plants a soft kiss on my lips.

"I'm your partner, i wanna go I can handle it"

I was trying to persuade him, and it must be pretty bad if he doesn't want me to go but I'm not that little slave girl anymore. I want to be by his side through it all.

"Rodneys wife narked so I have to finish her and whoever else I need to get rid of" his head looked down and you could tell this was gonna be the hardest thing he's done. Killing a wife and kids is not something you want to do every-day. But she knows to much and she narked. So it's all on her.

"I'm in" I said making his head snatch towards mine. I intertwined our fingers together as I stared back into his eyes.

"You go I go, were a team remember"
