Chapter 3

Lavender's POV

"You don't seem like a typical party girl." Timothy said as we watched the stars from the top of the building. My head was spinning from all the alcohol I had consumed. Was it that obvious that I wasn't like the others?

"I'm not really. Breanna made me go." I replied with a smile on my face. I gazed up into the stars, I wonder if my parents are watching the stars as well. I miss them so much and it's barely been a day.

"I thought you were new in New York, you seem pretty popular to me." his eyes looked at me which made my whole body almost go numb. I felt safe. I looked back at him and his eyes met mine. I chuckled at his answer. Me popular never?

"I didn't expect my first day to go like this either. I'm usually an introvert type of girl." I told him. That made him smile, I guess he's not much of a party person either. His eyes sparkled exactly like the stars.

We stood up on the roof. His hair flew in the wind like birds flying in the sky and his oversized shirt matched the darkness of the night. He held my hand as he followed me back to my dorm.

"This is it." I said as we arrived outside of my dorm. The dorm building that was super loud earlier was quieter than my house at home. If you dropped a pencil everyone in the dorm building could probably hear it.

"Call me when you wake up tomorrow." You smiled and gave me a hug before starting to walk out of the campus. Your hoodie was soft but your hands were even softer around my waist. I waved goodbye but you didn't see me doing it.

I unlocked my dorm. My dorm was empty. I guess Breanna was still at the party. I lied down in my warm bed I didn't care about my dress or removing the makeup on my bed. I just wanted to sleep. I closed my eyes and went to bed.

The doves outside my window woke me up early in the morning. Breanna still wasn't home, hm weird. I walked over to my mirror. I looked like a mess, my mascara had ran down my face and my lipstick was smugged all over my lips and teeth.

My hair was an even bigger mess, it looked like a birds nest with baby birds sticking out from it.

Timothy's POV

I waited for your call. You told me yesterday that you were going to. Perhaps you were still asleep, hm. The clock was right after nine though, I know that you're an early riser from your blog posts.

I drank my cup of coffee while looking out at the couples walking around on my street. Maybe that can be us someday. You coming home from college and me coming home from work while walking to our apartment together. That would be nice, wouldn't it? My phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I answered the phone while placing my coffee on the table.

"Hi, is this Timothy?" You asked, you sounded tired. I bet you're still wearing your pjs and laying down in bed. Your usually high pitched voice was low pitched and rusty.

"Yes." I answered your question. How could you know that I was thinking about you? Do you have some kind of mind reading super power? I know that you have class tomorrow, and yet you chose to call me. I should feel honored, I do.

I smelt the hoodie I was wearing yesterday. It still smells like you. Like a sweet vanilla smell that reminds me of cold winters inside.

"Thanks for yesterday." I can hear you smile through the phone. Your voice always gets a lot calmer when you do. You're welcome Lavender. I would do anything for you, but you don't know that yet. I will tell you about that when we start dating.

"Of course. Do you have class today?" I know that you don't. I have your schedule on my phone, your first class starts tomorrow at 10 am. It's English, your favorite subject. At least according to your mother's facebook page.

"No silly, it's Sunday!" you chuckle, wow your laugh is cuter than I had imagined. Your laugh makes me smile, the things I would do for you Lavender... I can hear you walking, your quiet and slow footsteps. Where are you going?

"I have to go sadly, it was nice talking to you Timothy." you say goodbye. It hurts my heart not knowing where you're going. Perhaps it's on your insta story, you post everything there. I exit out of the call and go to your instagram. Of course using a fake account, I don't want to seem like some type of creep.

Nope, nothing there. School activity? No. I guess I will have to get out and find you myself. Next time we meet I will be sure to install a tracker on you, it's much easier that way. I will know where you are at all times.

I have to have a disguise on so you won't notice me right away. I put on my sunglasses, not too obvious that you have a secret admirer watching you. But still enough for you to not recognize me. I put on my jacket and rush towards your university.

There you are! You look sweeter than last time I saw you. You have a cute polkadot dress and not too much makeup. That's exactly what you should wear. Nothing too revealing and not too much makeup like you did at that party. That's not good for someone like you.

I follow you from a far towards a grocery store. I wonder what you're going to buy.

"Thanks for the help." you smile at a girl that works at the grocery store. You're sweet just like I thought. Not mean like my previous girlfriend, Elizabeth. I will tell you about her as well one day. I don't want you to look at me differently after I tell you about what happened to her.
