Chapter 4 - Secrets are Somewhat Revealed

Jay was not good at one thing. One thing that would make him a good soldier. Knife throwing. He didn't know what else to do other than trying to get the wolf to leave. He knew that he would lose from the wolf. He hardly knew anything of them. He tossed the knife and skimmed off some of the wolf's ear. He only succeeded in making the wolf more angry. The wolf snarled, showing his sharp teeth. His growl hurt Jays ears as the wolf started to run towards him. The wolf's enormous paws hitting the ground, causing dust to fly up and the ground to shake-well, that might have been Jays imagination- but either way. He held out his hands ready for the wolf to attack him, but that day didn't come. An arrow shot from the right and the wolf fell to the ground. Whimpering, trying to get the arrow out of his right side. The person with the bow shot another arrow and the wolf now was a lifeless carcass. Jay looked up and when he saw who had the bow. He couldn't hold himself back from running towards her. Jay threw his hands around his mother and inhaled the dust that lay around her aroma. Nancy hugged her son back as tight as she could. He had, well, when he left. He didn't want to leave his mom. She had taken the thing with his father a lot worse. Nancy had a nasty reminder of the day. She had a long scar across her eye and a bad ankle. Part of the reason Jay ended up leaving was because Nancy ended up remarrying. Not that Jay disliked Craux. He just would never be able to replace his father and he would never understand the hurt that Nancy and Jay felt because of the husband/father.

"Why did you go away?" Nancy asked pulling away from the hug and holding her son's head with her hands on the side of it and her fingers entangling with his hair.
"Mom. I think you know why." Jay looked up at his mother threw his eyelashes trying to make her realize what he was thinking. Nancy seemed to get it almost immediately and pulled her son back into a hug.
Catherine grabbed the gutter of the roof and jumped to the ground. She looked up and realized she landed in the perfect spot. She was right next to Bandit/where all the wolves were. Catherine glanced to the left and saw a gun laying there. Catherine smiled and looked at Bandit.
"Distract them." Catherine patted his shoulder and pushed off of him making him stumble while she ran past a wolf and slid on her side picking up the revolver. She pointed it at the wolf coming after her.
Bandit didn't really understand how he would distract the wolves without dying. Bandit had really still been in shock from there being WOLVES IN SOUTH AMERICA! Bandit backed up to the building and he moved his hands back and forth on the wall, like he was petting it. He wasn't doing this for no reason. He was trying to find a loose brick. One that wouldn't collapse the whole building. He moved a little to the right, the wolves eyes never leaving him. Bandit's hand went into a dip in the wall. A brick had already fallen out, Bandit risked a glance to the ground to notice a little pile of bricks. Bandit smiled and he quickly looked back at the wolves as he heard them howl as if they were about to kill. The first wolf looked at Bandit with the sorrowful black eyes. The wolf somehow seemed sorry to be doing this. But when the other three wolves jumped from behind the first one charging at Bandit. He quickly leaned down and picked up a brick in one hand. He turned around and the brick in his right hand flew out and went straight to the wolf farthest to the right and he was out cold. The middle wolf stopped and went to the other wolf. The third wolf kept charging to Bandit and the wolf stopped when he was two inches apart from Bandit, who raised the brick in the air. The wolf glanced at it but he couldn't seem to attack. There was a gunshot in the distance and both Bandit and the wolf glanced over to see the second wolf's -that had been chasing Bandit- dead body. The first wolf the one that acted like the leader howled. The one two inches from Bandit looked back at the wolf and then the wolf collapsed to the ground. As the loud bang hurt Bandit's ears. He had never been so close to a bullet before. Than the last wolf, the leader looked towards the direction that the gunshot came from. Bandit looked to after he saw the leader wolf barr his teeth, slobber pouring out over his canines. Bandit saw Catherine holding a gun out that was pointed towards the last wolf. The wolf's eyes seemed to become more urgent and alert. His killer instinct now kicking in. The wolf launched himself forward and Catherine was shooting straight at the wolf but the wolf kept dodging them. Bandit could see the worry starting to appear on Catherine's face. Bandit looked around frantically for something to distract the wolf with and he didn't find anything until he went to raise his hands up in frustration. Dropping a brick on his foot. Bandit bit his tongue from yelling but when he saw the brick, he picked it up and threw it, probably 20% trying to save Catherine and the other 80% out of anger. He had to have broke some toes and when something falls on your toe, you will get mad and most likely through that object. Luckily though, Bandit was good at aiming and he threw it far enough ahead to hit the wolf in the side. The wolf fell to the ground from surprisement and Catherine took that opportunity to shoot the gun and kill the pack leader. The wolf howled as the bullet entered itself through the wolf's skull. Bandit had to admit Catherine was really good at shooting. Catherine dropped the gun immediately after she made the last shot. She had her eyes shut for a moment and then she opened them up, her eyes full of fear, than she walked over to Bandit.
"Thanks." She muttered. Than she pulled him into a hug. "I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you." She pulled away and gave Bandit a weak smile.
"Also, That was a one time thing." Than she turned from him and went over to Nancy who was having a deep conversation with her son. Bandit looked up at the building where he pictured Aarons dead body. He lowered his head at the thought of his friend dead. But he pushed through the sadness trying to overwhelm his body and he walked over to the three other people. As Bandit neared he heard some of their conversation.
"......... no one knows who he is. And you know." Jay stopped talking and sniffled. "They made me go they wouldn't let me stay. They said if I don't go that they would hurt you and I couldn't hurt you anymore. Not after dad." Jay bit his lip avoiding looking into his mother's eyes at all cost.
"Wait, you work for the group to?" Bandit asked interrupting Nancy who was about to speak. Jay looked up to see Bandit and he sighed in relief. He had at least found the person that could help defeat The Boss. Jay started nodding as he spoke,
"Yeah, Me and Aaron both did-" Catherine cut Jay off running back into the almost collapsed building, shouting 'AARON!' The two teenagers and old woman watched as Catherine darted into the building. Bandit shook his head and looked back to Jay.
"So, were you and Aaron friends? Like was this your plan all along? To have one of you go as bait? And the other to actually tell me what I need to know to stop this- this I don't even know what this is. The person you're working for?" Jay looked shocked, did Bandit really think that?
"NO! When Aaron convinced himself that we shouldn't be doing this, I agreed but then of course Derek didn't and he told the boss. Than they went to kill him and when they got back. I got mad and then left. I never wanted Aaron to die. I know I can't do this on my own. My plan was to sneak out that night and help Aaron. We could tell you everything-" Jay seemed to get caught up in his words and he stopped for a moment looking at Bandit. Bandit had no idea about his father. That would be a shock to him and he probably wouldn't believe them that he killed most of the people in the groups mother or father. Or at least took them away.
"Okay than. Tell me everything." Bandit said crossing his arms.
"I can't tell you here. People could over hear. Like the bad people and that wouldn't be good. Trust me, they will know whom I will be talking about. As will you, but I promise all the information I will tell you. It is true. I promise I wouldn't lie especially about this." Bandit nodded reassuringly when there was a loud crash to the side of them and they looked to see the Send-a-tacatory in ruins.
"NO!" Nancy yelled running towards them. Everyone knew why, Catherine had been in there. With Aaron but everyone thought he was dead. Nancy ran over to Catherine's body under the rubble.
Aarons body was next to hers. Sort of, he was about three feet from Catherine. Bandit went to go to him because he saw him open his eyes but there was the sound of doors opening and gasps from people. Bandit standing right beside the rubble really made them think that it was him.
"He is at it again!" A shriek was heard from the people.
"Nobody is safe!"
"We should banish him!"
"NO! We just need to leave."
"But Bandit might follow us."
"I DIDN'T DO IT! THE BUILDING WAS COMING DOWN BECAUSE THE GROUP THAT IS DOING THIS SHOT AT IT! I don't even know why you all hate me! My father was the one that took that bread. He just shoved it into my hands and blamed me. I took all of those years for him but he didn't care. He was glad he had one less mouth to feed." Bandit sighed at the end and turned away from the villagers.
Than a gunshot was heard and they all turned to see whom it was. A group of about ten men were standing there. All with guns in their hands pointing them towards mostly Jay and Bandit but at the villagers to. The person leading them was the one and only Derek. Jay saw some familiar faces behind him, like Scott, Brandon, Nick and Adam.
"You all probably should've listened to Bandit." Derek said smirking pulling the trigger to his gun and letting the bullet fly. The bullet was coming straight for Bandit and he knew there was no hiding from this bullet. That specific type of bullet was a never-misa-target bullet. It was hardwired to go to the person it was meant to.
